We are excited to announce that we are opening our bakery for breakfast take-out starting tomorrow, July 30th, from 6:30am to 11:30am and Tuesday-Saturday thereafter.
Bagels, spreads, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, drinks, and baked goods!
Avoid the downtown crush with plenty of parking and picnic tables available outside.
Located in the former Tibbet's building at the corner of Limerock Street and Virginia Avenue.

The Bagel Cafe at 30 Main Street is open!!
After a bit longer than anticipated and with the incredible efforts of the renovation and cafe crews we’re excited to open the doors and start making our new digs feel like home-and not just because there will be sesame and poppy seeds everywhere.

We are open 7 days a week.
7:00 - 3:00PM
7:30 - 3:00PM on Sundays

The Bagel Cafe Bakery at the old Tibbet’s building is operational but not yet open for retail.
We are focusing on production for now and will be opening for breakfast from 6:30am-11:30am in late June.
Because of current zoning it will be take-out only. Bagels,spreads,breakfast sandwiches, coffee,and beverages will be available.

Big changes are happening at the Bagel Cafe this Spring!
As such, we will be CLOSED starting THIS MONDAY, APRIL 22nd and aiming to reopen early May in our new location.
As some of you may know the Bagel Cafe is transitioning to a new space and we are very excited to announce that starting in May the Bagel will be taking up residence at 30 Main Street in Camden or as it is more widely known,the Boynton McKay building.
In addition to the Rt 1/Boynton location we will be moving our baking operation to the Tibbett’s building at the corner Limerock St. and Virginia Avenue out of which we will also be serving a pared down menu along with coffee,beverages,baked goods,and…Bagels! In other words,a way to grab a bite to eat and a coffee or your bag a bagels and cream cheese without having to brave the traffic on Route 1 during the summer.
Our Bagel making equipment is no joke and it will take time to dis and reassemble but we are hoping for a smooth and swift transition and to be back up and running before you can even miss us!
As we enter our 10th year at the Bagel Cafe we are thrilled to have found a new home in a truly special space in Camden and look forward to reinvigorating and honouring its history while providing what the community has come to expect of the Bagel Cafe:
Community,constistency,accessibility and great bagels(etc.)
In the meantime,come visit us this weekend for your last visit to the Bagel Cafe’s home of 30+years and come visit us in May at what we hope will be the Bagel Cafe’s home for the next 30!

With such heavy hearts we extend our condolences and love to Eli’s family and friends. Eli was a beloved friend and employee whose kind, intelligent, gentle and in the best way, devious presence at the Bagel Cafe and the Big T Snack Shack will be deeply missed. It was our pleasure to have Eli on our crew and he will forever have a place in our hearts. Rest In Peace dear Eli ❤️
