Happy Labor Day! 🎈Today, our doctors and staff at PurePediatrics are spending time with their families. We hope you have a fun and relaxing day with your loved ones too! 😊 We are excited to see our patients tomorrow in Bellaire, Memorial and River Oaks (Opening Day!) 🎉

It’s and also our favorite day at the ballpark is coming up on Sunday, September 1 - Dog Day at the Astros game. Yes, once a year, you get to bring your dog to the ballpark! Bruno and our entire team of humans and pups hope to see you there!!

Hurricane Update, Week TWO… Today, Bellaire lost power 👎 but Memorial finally got power 👍 and then two hours later, Bellaire got power again! 🫠 So, currently, we have BOTH offices up and running! Fingers crossed 🤞it stays that way.

In other news, our newest location in River Oaks thrived 🙌 in their brief power outage and the space is almost complete! Stay tuned!!

Power Update: we can’t believe we are still in the dark in Memorial! 👀 All of the docs will be in Bellaire today, so please be patient while the city sorts out the electricity.⚡️ Hopefully, we all have power soon!

Hurricane update - Wednesday: after many house calls, we made it back into Bellaire today with lights and now air conditioning 🫠.

While Memorial is still without power, all patients are being diverted to our Bellaire location for the remainder of this week.

Our newest location, River Oaks, was ALSO without power but still on target for a mid August opening date! Stay tuned to your email for more information!!

🌀Monday evening update: well that was a doozy. 😵‍💫Hope you are all safe At this time, neither Bellaire nor Memorial offices have power. 😲 We are not sure when power will be restored.

All patients on Tuesday are being contacted to reschedule for later this week or next week.

We are able to make house calls for any sick patients or urgent newborns.

Due to our first tropical storm of the season, we will all be home, snuggling with our babes, wishing the sun would shine once again.

Another fun week in the books doing what we love ❤️ and another med student selfie, this time with student, Trevor Trudeau, a fellow Texan and graduate.

It’s always fun to have these young medical students around to remind us that we once used paper charts, paper prescriptions, and didn’t have Google or even an iPhone during medical school - we didn’t even have WiFi! 🤣

👋 Meet Roshni Sambasivan, MD - a super mom pediatrician AND lactation consultant, who is all about empowering mamas to reach their feeding goals and conquer their baby's early months like a boss! She's got a keen eye for spotting the challenges that families face and is dedicated to customizing medical care to ensure her patients thrive. 🥰

As a Board Certified Pediatrician from the Northeast, Dr. Roshni has the brains too! She's a proud George Washington University grad - where she attended both college and earned her medical degree. Following her Pediatrics Residency at Texas Children’s Hospital, Dr. Roshni worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist associated with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and more recently as an Assistant Professor at Texas Children’s Hospital as a newborn hospitalist!

When she's not saving the day, Dr. Roshni loves soaking up the sun and exploring the outdoors, as well as sampling delicious foods and globetrotting with her hubby, Ajai - who's also a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. With two school-aged kiddos, Dr. Roshni has called Houston her home for over a decade, and she's not leaving anytime soon!

Dr. Roshni is now seeing patients in our Bellaire office. 🎉
