It has been a very long and difficult time for all and I hope that everyone is well.

I am thrilled to announce that Buds to Blossoms will be reopening in September, 2021 on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at the Belle Harbor Yacht Club.

Seats are filling up quickly! To reserve a spot and/or receive a Welcome/Information Packet, please contact [email protected]. The registration fee will not be due until the first day of class.

Enjoy the rest of the spring and have a fabulous, happy and healthy summer. Hope to see you in September!

Despite the difficulty and challenges we all faced, I hope that everyone found some joy during the holiday season. I miss my "old" Buds and am sad I did not get to meet my "new crop of Little Buds". I remain hopeful that Buds to Blossoms will reopen in the future (most probably not until September 2021). In the meantime, best wishes to all for a happy, healthy, peaceful and "back to normal" New Year!

Coronavirus Update:
In accordance with current restrictions and in the best interest of our families, our community and our nation, Buds to Blossoms will suspend classes until further notice.
I will be in contact with our current families on a regular basis via e-mail with regard to changes, etc.

Stay safe, stay healthy and enjoy our wonderful Rockaway air and beaches. A walk on the beach with your children will be "a breath of fresh air" for everyone (using social distancing measures, of course)!

Happy New Year from Buds to Blossoms! What fun we had celebrating the holidays and our December birthdays! We are learning about winter, catching snowflakes, singing our snowman song and having lots of fun. We are up to the letter "L" on our word window. Be prepared to hear lots of roaring when we learn about lions and make our lion craft.

What a wonderful fall we had a Buds to Blossoms! Our "Little Buds" sang fall songs, gathered leaves and celebrated birthdays, Halloween and Thanksgiving. Our word window is growing. We have read and learned about alligators, butterflies, cats, dinosaurs, Elmo, frogs, horses and ice cream so far! The fun will continue as we get ready to celebrate the season of winter and all of the wonderful things the new season brings.

Happy New Year! Baby it's cold outside, but our little "Buds" have been having a great time inside! Both classes in the Spring Session (which begins on February 6/7) are full. Looking forward to more fun times with our "Old Buds" and welcoming our "New Buds".

My little Buds certainly received a crash course on the season of Winter! Best wishes to all for a happy, healthy and peaceful New Year. We had a great first sessions and I'm looking forward to a fabulous second session. So much to do and learn!

This week we celebrated Hannukah - we watched Miss Lee Ann spin a dreidel, read "Where is Baby's Dreidel" book and had festive cookies. We also talked about the snow, celebrated a birthday, practiced singing Jingle Bells and worked on our Ho Ho Ho too! Another fun and busy week at Buds to Blossoms!

We are ready for Thanksgiving - read our Thanksgiving books, celebrated with cookies, learned to gobble like a turkey and practiced the "5 Little Turkeys" song. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

We have all been having such a wonderful time learning to snap like an alligator, growl like a bear, meow like a cat! Both the Wednesday and Thursday classes are filled with delightful toddlers and terrific moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas and caregivers. Last Thursday we celebrated 5 birthdays and started to learn the 5 Little Pumpkins song. We are getting ready for Fall and all of the exciting things this season brings!

REMINDER - Registration at the Belle Harbor Yacht Club on Wednesday, August 16th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. If you are unable to attend, but are interested in the program, please email [email protected] and I will send you an information/welcome packet.

Safety first! Class canceled on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 due to weather conditions. E-mails sent to all "Buds". Please check your e-mails and this page for details regarding our Thursday class.

Due to pending winter storm, for everyone's safety class on Thursday, February 9, 2017 will be canceled. I regret any inconvenience but everyone's safety is most important. Stay safe, have fun and build a snowman! Happy Valentine's Day - we will celebrate next week!

What a wonderful year it has been at Buds to Blossoms! So many milestones reached by my Little Buds. Our second session begins on February 1, 2017. Stop in at the Yacht Club for registration and/or complimentary class any Wednesday or Thursday between 9:15 and 10:30.

We have been very busy at Buds to Blossoms. Halloween parties, birthday celebrations,making new friends, learning new seasonal songs like 5 Little Pumpkins and 5 Little Turkeys, have added to our weekly fun! We are learning that giraffe starts with the letter G and that they have long necks to eat leaves from tall trees. Having so much fun with my terrific "Little Buds"!

I'd like to thank all of my "buds, blossoms, parents, grandparents and caregivers for making the first full year of Buds to Blossoms a huge success! We navigated the alphabet with stories, art projects and songs, celebrated holidays and birthdays and had lots of fun every week! Have a wonderful summer. Hope to see some of you again in September and I will miss those who are going onto "bigger and better things"!

All of my Buds and Blossoms made terrific farms this week. We read a great book about farms and enjoyed singing Old McDonald Had a Farm, E I E I O. Can't wait for next week - we will be talking about safety (a hint for the next project)!

Finally, we were able to talk about "sunny weather"! "Z" week was lots of fun. Our Zebra crafts looked great and all of my "little buds" enjoyed reading the book "Do Zebras Wear Polka Dots?" Since we have finished the alphabet, next week's craft and book will be a surprise!

Another great week with my "Little Buds" We made two terrific Mother's Day crafts - I hope everyone enjoys their little personalized hand prints! I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone - moms, grandmas, aunts and caregivers a very Happy Mother's Day! See you all next week.

What a "V"ery fun week we had! We learned that vegetables grow in the ground from seeds, that they taste delicious and that they help us grow to be big and strong. We read a book about how some vegetables grow down in the ground and how others grow above the ground, made a beautiful plate full of vegetables and sang a song all about vegetables. My "Little Buds" are the best! Have a great weekend.

Happy Friday! Even though it has felt like Winter, Spring has sprung at Buds to Blossoms. This week we made flower gardens with stickers, read "When Spring Comes" and learned that in the Spring the flowers grow, the grass turns greens and the trees get filled with leaves. We are learning a new song "5 Little Monkeys" and are all becoming "Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" experts!
