In case you haven’t noticed….I have started wearing Eyeglass Chains because my glasses fall all the time. Especially my second pair of readers that I used to tuck into my shirt. Those boogers fell multiple times daily. Yes…. I need both! So I put them on a chain too. And there I created my new Rap Name….Two Chain Jo or JoJo 2 Chainz!! 🤣😂

A number of Eclectica’s friends have asked why I don’t carry them. So, the good news is that I just brought in a new line of eyeglass chains for my fellow 4 eyes. There are a few different styles and colors. These are lighter weight than my first chain so it’s great for the hotter weather. No more scratching my lens on the floor. 🎉🎉 Or glasses falling in the toilet or a Public Bathroom Floor. 🤢🤢🤮🤮 ( Yes….that has happened too) Ya, also can’t beat the price!!

In the fall I will bring in some of the chunkier cool styles, too. Come in and take a look.

No, Eclectica’s walk way is not finished yet but we added some heavy duty outdoor carpet to ease the walk. We cannot stay closed till it’s fixed because…..we have to pay rent. 😉😉And Yes…. The planter is in the walkway for a reason. There is a bump in the middle of the walk and I don’t want anybody to trip on it. It’s always something!! 😂🤣

To answer Facebooks question….What’s on your mind? I am feeling down. Eclectica’s yard was filled back in but….I was just told that the bricks aren’t being replaced yet!! Well, I can’t afford to be closed any longer.

So, we are back open again. But please be careful walking on the dirt walkway!! It’s is doable but it is an inconvenience. We apologize in advance. But we were closed for July 4th week for a Fam Reunion and then 10 days for this water pipe break. So to sweeten the deal Eclectica, will be taking 20% off Storewide for the next week or so.

Don’t forget that Eclectica has great Delaware items ( Magnets, Tees & Stickers). They make great gifts for your friends and family on your summer travels & get together.

Well, we are getting closer but….No Cigar! At least poor Andrew doesn’t have to climb under the hand rails to get to work. 🙄😬

So Eclectica is still closed. This has been a week! 🙄🙄 We will let you know when the bricks are in place. Thanks for your patience.

Well…. Our life is turned upside down….literally!! This is a pic of our front walk at Eclectica. 😳😳 It’s Always something!! The building has a busted pipe and a water leak.💔💔

So for now….Eclectica is closed. Poor Andrew has to climb in the side plant bed to get in the shop and his office to work.🙄🙄🤞🤞

It will probably be days before this is remedied. We will update you on the progress. Come on Etsy & EBay….Momma needs to pay rent in a few weeks. 🙏🙏

Eclectica, closes at 5pm today. We are usually not opened on Monday but we will be open this Monday 7/1 from 11am to 5:30pm. Because Eclectica, will be closed from 7/2 Tuesday and we will re-open on 7/10 at 11am.

So, if anybody is traveling this fourth week and need some hostess gifts or Delaware souvenirs, Eclectica has you covered. We have lots of Delaware/ Bellefonte/Americana T-shirts, Magnets and stickers.

Our legs are kicking again!! They are full of Cool Vintage Rock Bands and just fun new Pins. We also put some of Eclectica’s Delaware and Vote designs onto pins.

We did it!! We survived another wild and busy Bellefonte Arts Fest!! We want to Thank all of you that came out to support The Shops o Bellefonte and all of the wonderful Vendors, Food Trucks and Musicians all day on Sunday. A double “Thank you” for changing your schedules to Sunday and still were able to join in our festivities. I think the Festival was only moved 2x in all these years. But thank you for coming!!

Now a third “Thank You” from Eclectica! Thank you for feeling a hot….no air conditioning shop and ya still came in!! Everyone was so kind by saying that the fans helped. And thanks for beening patient with my huge shop with tons of space!! Not!! Again, everyone had a mission and stuck to their plans! They got in and found their something special find….and got out! 🤣😂 It did add to the adventure, Right?? 😬😬 Hey, growing up it was rare to have much air conditioning. Now, We are just spoiled. 😬😬 Thank Goodness….Right?! But truly thanks for being troopers with all of our crazy.

Andrew tried to take a pic of me as I was melting at the counter. I said, No please…..I’m all sticky. A long time customer said, “If not now….then when”. I said, True!”. She said, “I’ll take a pic of you both and I’ll Air Drop it to you”. How sweet of her. So, after we figured out how to “Air Drop” 😂🤣 we got our pick that’s below and we got the register line moving again. Thanks for your patience during our Photo Opp. Next time we will try to take out pic at 10am before the busy starts. 😉😉 Never a dull moment at Eclectica.

We were also very touched by seeing some of our long time customers coming in with their families. This June is Eclectica’s 23rd year in biz and we have seen some things. High School age customers graduate…..go to college or get jobs, get married and then come visit with their husbands/wives and their kids. As the say, Don’t Blink!! It’s true! We are so blessed to have shared in all of your lives. I’m crying just thinking of all of the stories, and all of the faces we have seen over the years. We are sooo happy for all of your happy stories over life accomplishments.

And then the few we have lost over the years. Like our fun, Bellefonte Champion, silly, next door neighbor, Ms. Kathy. She was even our rear register in the old Kitchen Room ( now Andrew’s office- We could have really used her help on Sunday 😂) She will always be very missed.

Thanks again, for sharing your lives with us. It is what life is all about….sharing and caring. I wish I had more time to chat. But you were actually lucky you only had a short moment to chat because you know on a quiet day…..I never shut up!😂🤣😂🤣 Hell’s look how long this post is!! All kidding aside….💜💜I HAD to do all this thanking.

I can’t believe I’m considering this but….I’m going to move the counter back to the front of the shop. This will give us more room for traffic flow on busy days. I hope! Plus, it will give me the chance to replace the 200 year old carpet. There is soooo much stuff in that room and even more around my desk! But, it’s time. We will update you on when we will get started on this.

The good news is that the AC is back on! So, come on in….its cool inside. 🤣😂 We appreciate all of your support on Sunday and year round. Hope you enjoyed your toasty visit and hope you will keep Eclectica in mind the next time you need a card/gift or something cool to decorate your home.

So Happy 🎉🎉….Eclectica received some of their last minute orders today for the Bellefonte Arts Fest tomorrow!! So we will get those babies tagged today. 👏👏

Looks like switching days was all for the best. The weather is looking much better. Eclectica, is putting out new Vinyl and some hot new Music framed prints that Andrew designed.

Our Fishnet legs will be full of new Fab buttons & pins. We also have new patches, magnets, and stickers. With designs from albums, cartoons, Delaware Love, life reminders, musicians new & old. Plus, I’m just starting to display another fun line of crazy earrings. No pics….We want them to be a surprise. 😬😬

Things got a little Catty here at Eclectica today. We received some fun new earrings. Styles from anime to cuteness. Brown cats tail even swings. I’m not a cat girl myself, but these are cute.

These will be going out on the floor tomorrow. 70 pairs of earrings are now tagged and only 200+ more to tag plus we just received 300 buttons designed by Andrew Geroski & I. Plus, many more orders are coming in soon. 🙏🙏 Who ordered all this merch??!! 😬😬 Me!

Just a reminder that tonight is 1st Friday Eclectica and the Shops of Bellefonte will be open late. Each shop will have their own specials for the evening. Eclectica, will have a 20% off Storewide sale in honor of Mother’s Day on Sunday 5/12. We will serve some goodies as well.

I wanted to thank everyone that came over to the Shop’s of Bellefonte’s, ( Eclectica, Bellefonte Cafe, Bellefonte Arts, Bellefonte Vintage & Finist & the Owl) ….Spring Fling Flea yesterday. The Blvd. was buzzing with many Street Vendors like Cupcake Haven, Sassy Bee, Moon Child Sweets and more. We even had a booth with Axolotl’s!! All the kids were pumped to see them. Plus, we had Uncle John’s BBQ Food Truck & Zaikka on Wheels working hard to serve their vittles to the crowd.

Now, we are gearing up for the Bellefonte Arts Festival next month on May 18! Mark your calendars…..there will be fun for everyone! Andrew & Alana did NOT take any pics of our booth or our event. So here are a few pics I borrowed from other vendors. BAF is double the size! 😉😉

Planters- Wire outdoor/indoor hanging planter baskets, Tons of Cement Garden Decor, Bellefonte Tub Planters, Home Decor, Jewelry, And of course Re-Sale & more!!

The Shops of Bellefonte- The Bellefonte Cafe, Eclectica, Bellefonte Arts, Bellefonte Boutique, Finist & the Owl, & Bellefonte Vintage are hosting this fun event on the 800 Blk on Brandywine Blvd. The street will be closed to traffic but filled with Street Vendors, Food Trucks, Music all geared towards a Gardening, Recycled, & up cycled merch. They’ll be something for everyone. The hours are 10am to 4pm ( though most shops will prob be open till 5pm).
