It's World Aquatic Physical Therapy Day!!

That's something we are very passionate about here at the Belleville East clinic. We see first hand how aquatic exercises help with early weight bearing, balance training, flexibility, as well as strengthening the core back muscles and improving gait.

Our Healthcare & CSA Committee would like to send out a big THANK YOU to those who donated snacks to Heartlinks Grief Center at Family Hospice. The special treats (especially those coveted Flamin' Hot Cheetos) will surely put a smile on the faces of the kids benefitting from the grief counseling at Heartlinks Grief Center!

Heartlinks Grief Center, a program of Family Hospice, assists grieving children, individuals, families, and groups through individual and family counseling, peer support groups, and other supportive community programs regardless of ability to pay.

We really enjoyed having members of the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce visit with us today!! Thanks to everyone who came out to spend their morning and have a cup of coffee with us! ☕🥰

Bryan is a civil engineer at SAFB and has been working with our therapist Kurt on a wrist sprain that has been causing him problems.

This is what Bryan had to say about his treatment at our Belleville East location.

"The best part of my day is coming to physical therapy. I am preparing for a Readiness Contest on base in April. This is where we compete to see who is the best and the fastest at things pertaining to our everyday jobs. For me, my job entails a lot of heavy lifting, so regaining full use of my wrist is important. Kurt is helping ensure that I am ready to win!"

When asked what the reward is for winning Bryan said, "Military pride and becoming well known in your field for being excellent at what you do."
