Saturday Morning - MOUVbarre 8:30am - 9:30 am

Sunday Morning - MOUVbarre 9:00am-10:00am & MOUVmat 10:15am-11:15am

Bring your own mat and 2-5 lb. Drop-in rate: $20

⁣My 2020 NY resolution was to drink water. You may have noticed all of hydration reminders... ⠀

Last year around this time, my wife was in nutritional therapy school and was in the midst of her hydration module. When she shared the calculation for proper hydration with me I knew I was chronically dehydrated (FYI dehydration is the #1 nutritional deficiency in America). ⠀

The second slide gives you the formula to calculate your own daily consumption requirement. ⠀
I’ll use myself as an example;⠀
Body weight (130lbs) divided by 2= 65oz⠀
I drink 2 - 8oz diuretic beverages a day totaling 16oz. Multiply that by 1.5 = 24oz⠀
Take your first total (65) and add the second total (24) = 89oz ⠀

❗You can over hydrate- which can deplete your body of essential minerals and be extremely detrimental to your health. ⠀

Take a moment, do the calculation and stay within that range for optimal hydration 💦

Monthly unlimited pricing is back! $150/month for unlimited live stream and outdoor classes. This option makes sense for you if you’re able to attend 3+ classes a week. This will not include the on-demand subscription (Vimeo).

This outdoor, small group training will focus on speed, agility and increased aerobic capacity. The workout will be formatted as stations in a circuit (to maintain social distancing) with zero contact to the equipment. ⠀

Today would’ve been Breonna Taylor’s 27th birthday. But she’s not here to celebrate, because shortly after midnight on March 13, Louisville police entered her apartment unannounced—and, after a brief confrontation with her boyfriend, shot her eight times. The officers have not been fired or charged.
Breonna was an award-winning EMT. Her mom says her daughter had plans to become a nurse, buy a house, and start a family. Now, she doesn’t even get to celebrate her birthday.
In our fight to remind the world that Black Lives Matter, we need to remember those Black lives also include Black women. So on what would’ve been her 27th birthday today, let’s speak her name: Breonna Taylor.

⁣When I was in middle school learning about the civil rights movement I saw an image of a white man sitting next to a black man at a deli counter in protest of segregation. I imagined that if I was alive at that time I would do the same thing. I would use my privilege to stand up against inequality and injustice. Because I knew, and still know, that simply being born with white skin affords you opportunity, and safety. ⠀

The reality is, not much has changed in regards to the oppression and violence against POC. And I haven’t said much or done much to change that. I am part of the problem. I will do better. I will speak up and take action. ⠀

I was hoping that during a pandemic, professionals in this industry (claiming to stand in health and wellness) would refrain and hopefully rethink typical messaging/marketing. ⠀
I’m frustrated to see the same old BS all over the gram. Memes like “Don’t gain the Covid-19lbs”. ⠀
This is basic bitch marketing.⠀

Its not ok. It causes damage. It reinforces ⠀
fat-phobia.
