If you floss & brush every day, do you still need to have your teeth professionally cleaned? Yes! Plaque forms on your teeth 4-12 hrs after you brush. As it builds up, it turns into tartar. This hard yellow deposit sticks to your teeth & it can’t be removed with a toothbrush or by flossing. It can only be scraped off by your friendly neighborhood
