Want to help make a child’s Christmas special this year? We do too! Capstone Physical Therapy is a collection site for Toys for Tots. Join us in helping less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas!
Toys for Tots coordinators, with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups, and other local community agencies, distribute the toys to the less fortunate children of the community for Christmas. All toys must be new and unwrapped and can be dropped off through December 13 during business hours at each of our Whatcom County Capstone Physical Therapy clinics: Lynden, Blaine, Birch Bay, Ferndale, Bakerview, Barkley, and Fairhaven.

Capstone Physical Therapy cares about your health and the health of others. We are taking precautions to ensure the health and safety of our patients.

With the growing concerns and restrictions regarding the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share with you some steps that Capstone is taking to ensure the safety of our patients and our therapy team.
We have increased our sanitation practices in all of our clinics and all Capstone providers and support staff are required to complete daily health and temperature checks.
Any patient that has experienced flu like symptoms should call our office and place their therapy on hold for 2 weeks. If you have been exposed to a person with Covid 19 or a person with flu like symptoms you will also be required to put your therapy on hold for 2 weeks. We know how important it is to continue to make progress with therapy. We will be offering limited remote therapy and home programs for patients with specific diagnoses.
If you are healthy and able to attend therapy you will notice the additional measures we are taking to protect our patients and staff. Each patient will need to complete a quick health screen when they arrive for their appointment that may include a forehead temperature check. We ask that you come to therapy by yourself whenever possible. If you need to bring someone with you for assistance they will also be required to complete a health screen. All patients will be required to wash/sanitize their hands when entering and leaving our facility and during therapy.
Everyone should take simple steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses:
• Wash your hands frequently.
• Avoid touching your face.
• Cough and sneeze into a bent elbow or tissue, then throw away the tissue.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Stay home when you or a family member is sick.
• Clean and disinfect frequently used objects and surfaces.
People with mild symptoms should stay home and rest. People who are severely ill or at high risk for severe illness should stay home and call their health care provider.
