Cloudy Bay slayer, cloudy day saver! This classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is firing on all cylinders! We have been looking for this "old school" style of New Zealand Sauv Blanc to share with you. The time has come. When we tasted through a good number of Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs a couple weeks back this wine was clearly the winner–actually reminding us of the historic brand Cloudy Bay, but without the price tag. Vibrant, juicy and fresh, this NZ SB pairs with summer produce (especially asparagus!), goat cheese, and soft summer breezes.

If you’re at all familiar with the back label of wines, you might be familiar with Rosenthal Wine Merchant, a close-knit group of people who really “get” wine, and have been focused on the best and purest form that wine can be for the past 40 years. Neal Rosenthal started out just like us, with his first shop opening in the 1970s in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. With many decades, his company’s North Star remains the same. With over 150 producers across 5 countries, all of the wines are full of character and totally expressive, and they come from vineyards these producers own and farm themselves. We are trhilled to be able to showcase the portfolio in the shop. Jesse Hufstader of Bianco Rosso will be here to represent a few selections.

Seifert & Jones seeks a friendly and responsible team member to fill a hybrid role. Responsibilities include assisting with wine tasting evaluations and wine club selection. Looking for excellent customer service skills, including answering phones, working checkout, and filling orders. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work deliveries to shelf and displays, and help with weekly shop cleaning.

Hours are available depending on your schedule. Required hours are Thursday and Friday, 10-6; preferred hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10-6. Additional days added to cover employee vacation days. Extra shifts will be added in November and December during the holiday season (applicant must be available for all shifts between November 19 through December 24). Hourly pay will be dependent on experience.

Baseline wine knowledge preferred.
