MASK MANDATE FOR HEALTHCARE FACILITIES ENDS APRIL 3, 2023

The statewide mask mandate for healthcare facilities ends on April 3, 2023. This means that patients and clinic staff are no longer required to wear a mask while in the clinic. Some patients and staff may choose to continue to wear masks at various times. There are many reasons that someone may choose to wear a mask, either for themselves or for their families. If a patient requests our providers to be in a mask during their visit, we will happily do so. Regardless, it is important that we treat all members of our community, wearing a mask or not, with respect.

If you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms at the time of your appointment, you may be asked to follow the protocols below:

Test for Covid before your scheduled appointment

Move your appointment to a video visit (Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology patients only)

Remain in your vehicle until the provider is ready to see you

All patients, staff, and providers with respiratory symptoms will be asked to be in a mask while inside our buildings until proven not infectious

We are so thankful to you, our patients, and look forward to continue partnering with you in managing your healthcare needs.

We are excited to welcome Michele Ingram Womens Health Nurse Practitioner with 31 years of experience in women's health.
Michele has expertise helping women of all ages with hormonal concerns including being a specialist in menopause care. She has board certification in Reproductive Endocrinology helping women with infertility and OB care.
If you are looking for a wonderful and experienced women's health provider, please give our office a call. Michele is covered on most insurance plans and open to new patients.

Remember your skin is MOST sensitive to the first sun exposure of the season.
This spring break, be careful with protective clothing, large hats and putting on your SPF (at 9am and 12pm) to protect your skin, especially on the snow or water.

Starting the week of March 22nd we will have a limited supply of Moderna Vaccine to those eligible for the COVID19 vaccine.

We are receiving a high number of inquiries around the COVID19 vaccine and availability. We are all signed up and ready to go and hope to be getting steady shipments of the Moderna vaccine in the coming weeks from the Department of Health.

Washington State recently added a new eligibility group, Phase 1B-Tier 1 (age 65 and older and age 50 and older in a multigenerational household), in addition to Phase 1A. You can check your COVID vaccine eligibility using the PhaseFinder online questionnaire at www.findyourphasewa.org.

Our ARNP's will identify eligible MSFMD patients for the vaccine, and we will reach out to patients individually to schedule an appointment. We are not accepting requests for appointments by phone or email, or keeping a waiting list. MSFMD is working hard to be ready for vaccinating our patients and we humbly request your patience and understanding as we navigate this new and challenging process. Our community will likely have many COVID19 vaccine options from pharmacies and other providers in the coming weeks.
