Last night we attended this fundraising event featuring Randy Rogers Band w/ Kin Faux! It was at a really great venue Lonestar Premier Outdoors in Cibolo, Tx. We went dove hunting followed by the concert and a live charity auction! You know you’re at a fun place when you can run into Mr Good Times Kevin Fowler hunting and enjoying the show! Our family loves this recipe. We served this years ago when we offered breakfast tacos at the restaurant and I still make at home on the weekends.

Last night we finished our 16th year of The Schoepf’s Music Series with Kolby Cooper_! Thanks to everyone that joined us to eat BBQ & hang out to listen to some great music last night and throughout the summer. Our Rockin to Replant was a HUGE SUCCESS! Our goal was to help put some trees back in our neighbors yards! We had a great concert with the helping of fans and sponsors raising money! We were able to fund some trees getting planted and help some TREE PROJECTS in BELTON and TEMPLE! Both cities were presented with $10,000! The organizers of the event were 93 Nursery & Landscape Supply, Texas Tour Gear, RED's Custom Tees, and SCHOEPF’s BBQ.

Tonight Schoepf’s Backyard!

Thanks Michael Carubelli for sharing this picture(circa 2008). Michael would come play his tunes in the restaurant for our customers. In 2009 we started our concert series. And in 2010 there was a 100 year flood that hit downtown Belton. This picture was taken prior to the flood. There is now tin hung up 3 plus feet on that back wall where Michael was sitting. Our entire restaurant took on water and flooded that year. It’s always cool to see pictures like this back when we were just getting started in the music business.

To the start of it all, sitting in the corner at just pickin’ & grinnin’ for the dinner crowd.
