This week, staff and residents gathered to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our beloved Gatling Group Home!

Lisa, a long-term resident, moved us all with her heartfelt speech:
"Welcome to the 20th anniversary of Gatling House. It's been an honor to live here for these 20 years. I hope we have 20 more years in this house. I have seen the growth in everyone, something wonderful and beautiful. Thank you, Gatling House staff, for making it such a wonderful place."

Beat the Heat event

Members of the Bennington Fire Department will be setting up the ladder truck this week to help beat the heat. We’ll be in the back parking lot of the firehouse on River Street at the following times:

Tuesday - 6/18 from 3:00 to 4:00
Wednesday - 6/19 from 3:00 to 4:00
Thursday - 6/20 from 2:00 to 3:00

Thank you to the delicious Mach's Market in Pawlet, VT, for once again catering our annual luncheon and to Sacred Heart-Saint Francis DeSales for the opportunity to gather in their space each year. This event is our chance to come together as an agency to celebrate each other and it was a truly wonderful afternoon.

Another Spring Bash is in the books for our Early Childhood Services team! 🎉 This year's bash was carnival themed and brought together our Head Start and Early Head Start children and families, teachers, and staff for a fun day of activities, food, and a magic show.
