This week’s Bossier Parish Drill Team member spotlight goes to Jade Davis.

Jade is 14 years old and has been riding horses since she was 3.
She has been a member of the Bossier Parish Riding club since she was 6 years old and has won 2 saddles and several buckles with BPRC.
She loves to compete and train on Luna.
This is Jade's second year to be apart of the Bossier Parish Drill team. She loves to practice and laugh with all the girls on the team.
In addition to riding her horse regularly, attending church regularly is important to Jade and she enjoys her time at church with her family and friends.
She is one of several brothers and sisters and the times after church that she gets to spend with her family are special moments for her.

We are so glad to have you on the team Jade!

Madi Miguez

Madi is 14 years old and is a freshman at Benton High School. Madi is a member of National Honors Society and an active member in FCA. She attends Cypress Baptist Church and is an active member in Cypress Students. She loves Jesus and serves in many capacities and enjoys mission trips. This is Madi’s first year on the Bossier Parish Drill team and she is loving every minute of it! She has always had a heart for animals and horses are the star of that love. She has three horses, Cowboy, her partner in crime, Heater and Sierra. She takes such great care for these horses with the help of her Pop, who also happens to be her and Cowboy’s chauffer. Madi is a new member of the Bossier Parish Riding Club and has dabbled in barrels and poles, she loves to explore new things. She is enjoying the Drill Team and performing at local events. She loves all the new friends she has made and being a part of an awesome team!
Madi loves all animals big and small and dreams of being a veterinarian one day.

🔦 our spotlight member this week is Landry Westbrook!

For the past two years, Landry, has been the youngest member of the Bossier Parish Drill Team. She is currently 12 years old, and her partner, “Lightning” is a young 21. They have been a pretty dynamic duo over the past five years, making memories together in many ways. While Lightning is her mount for drill team, Landry does ride a total of three horses for a myriad of equine activities such as parades, royalty competitions, swimming, trail riding, sorting/team penning, barrel racing and pole bending.

When Landry isn’t practicing or performing for drill team she is spending her time practicing for her rodeo events and/or queening. She is currently reigning as the Springhill PRCA Rodeo Princess and has big dreams of becoming Miss Rodeo Louisiana one day.

Landry loves Jesus, her family & America, too. One of her favorite things is carrying the American flag and honoring God & our country.

🔦 This week’s member spotlight is Allyson Brunson.

Allyson is 17 years old and is going into her senior year. She has been homeschooled throughout her school career, which has allowed her to pursue her interests and chase her dreams!

Allyson spent a few years in the All State Youth Choir, traveling to various places in Louisiana to sing in services. She more recently has began leading music in her youth group at Northpoint Community Church.

She also volunteers in many capacities in our area.

This year, Allyson has decided to focus on her riding. She is part of the Bossier Parish Riding Club where she competes in barrels and poles, and is excited to also be part of the Bossier Parish Drill Team!

She has made many new friends and is looking forward to making new memories with the drill team! We so are happy to have Allyson on the team!
