Good morning! I am delighted to welcome October 1st, because y’all know I’m just a girl who loves Fall 🎃 We are simply adoring all the colors of the season found in the Benton Marketplace. Our store has an incredible array of decorative options that will add a warm and cozy feeling to your home. You’ll discover gorgeous vases, festive throw pillows and an extraordinary turkey centerpiece. Additionally, you will find all shapes, sizes and colors of pumpkins. Not to be missed is the outstanding framed deer painting - it’s one of my favorite things! We are open today 9am-5pm, so come by and see us at our Happy Place.

Would you enjoy working with the public in a fun retail setting? If so, we have a part-time job opening in our store. The following are some of the basic requirements:

- Approximately 24 hours per week on Thursday 1-5pm, Friday & Saturday 9am-5 pm and Sunday 1-5pm, although there is some flexibility.

- Must provide excellent customer service

- Ability to learn to operate a Point of Sale computer system

- Able to multitask in an often busy environment

- Perform light cleaning duties

- An honest, team player with a positive attitude

Good Friday morning🍁 Last night the Benton Marketplace held a Fall paint party hosted by our very talented Trudie Musich! Trudie is a distributor for the ever popular Rethunk Junk paint, which she also sells in her small business at the store. The ladies had a wonderful time, creating their own custom pumpkin-shaped Fall doormats. They also enjoyed wonderful refreshments and a little private after hours shopping. I think you’ll all agree their rugs turned out beautifully! We know Trudie will be doing more wonderful creations for you in the future. Thank you to our vendor, Carol Dollins, and store manager, Norma Rohrer, for their help.

Happy Thursday! There's a distinct Fall feel to the morning air today. not highlight a particular vendor or booth within our store. But today, I'd like to remind you that we have a booth run by our local DAV Chapter #118 🇺🇸 Their office is in the courthouse but they do have a small business in the Benton Marketplace. This space helps support our local veterans. We also have some new booth arrivals including, a beautiful Hoosier cabinet, a terrific crossbody bag, Fall decor and the sweetest chalk boxers figurines. We hope you’ll stop by and shop with our local DAV’s and all our other 60+ small businesses. Open today 9am-5pm.

This is a very difficult announcement, especially for me personally. It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved staff member, vendor and friend Nancy Barber, a.k.a. Fancy Nancy, is leaving us. Nancy has made the decision to move to Oklahoma to be near her son and his family. We share her joy in that decision.

Most of you know Nancy as our Friday, Saturday and Sunday gal. She has not only helped you with your purchases, but engaged with you in many wonderful conversations. She has brightened our days at the Benton Marketplace for the past four years and always has the very best smile!!

Nancy's last day will be Sunday, October 6. Please come by, give her a hug and wish her well before she heads off on this new adventure in her life. We sure are going to miss her and wish Nancy only the very best things in life. God bless you friend❤️

A sweet lady who frequents our store, came in saying she didn’t need anything in particular, but just had to get her mind off of life for a little while. And while she did find a sweet fall decor item, the most important thing for me was that she had some time to enjoy browsing through the store. That’s important to us at the Benton Marketplace.
