Since our inception in 1993, The Cancer Challenge has invested over $13.4 million dollars in our community focused on preventing, treating and rebuilding lives after cancer.
100% of all funds raised stay in Northwest Arkansas. Our grantees provide:

In observance of Labor Day, the Cancer Challenge office will be closed on Monday, September 2nd.

The Cancer Challenge is excited to announce the addition of Lisa Kelsey to the Board of Directors.
Lisa Kelsey is Vice President and General Manager of KNWA, Fox24, KXNW and KNWA.com, television and digital properties of Nexstar Media, Inc. In this role, Kelsey leads and equips her team to maintain the stations’ mission to serve the Northwest Arkansas community, enabling the properties to support hundreds of nonprofits and organizations in the community.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lisa to the Cancer Challenge family,” said Teresa Burke, Cancer Challenge Executive Director. “We have partnered with Lisa and her team for years to raise awareness and promote access to cancer programs and services available in the Northwest Arkansas community. We are so honored to have Lisa’s expertise and leadership join our team.”
Lisa and Joel Kelsey have been married for 41 years and have two beautiful daughters, Kara Hudson and Shae Kelsey. The Kelsey’s reside in Fayetteville and are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first granddaughter.
The Cancer Challenge is a local non-profit advocating and supporting world class cancer care in Northwest Arkansas. Since 1993, the Cancer Challenge has invested $15 million in funding cancer programs and services serving the people of NWA. Cancer Challenge recently launched a three year $6.2 million comprehensive campaign to advance the mission and expand program and services funding to meet the growing and emerging needs of Northwest Arkansas.

Beautiful day to wrap the Cancer Challenge events with the 5K/10k Run! Thank you to the hundreds who participated and all the volunteers!
We wrapped up the week of Cancer Challenge events with a 5K/10k race, Mixed Doubles at Pickleball and a Corn Hole Tournament! Thank you to our Race Director Ty Hoffine, corn Hole Director David Jones and Marcy A Hayes Stokes for rounding out Pickleball.
Heather, our community engagement coordinator, is at the Cancer Challenge Run today in Bella Vista working with Boy Scout Troop 36 - Northwest Arkansas at the water station.
