Unity Chapel

Matthew 9:37-38 KJVS
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; [38] Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

These were planted in early May, and as I was removing the vines, I could see a few had grown completely out of the dirt and I was so excited to see how well they had done.

I was thinking on these verses as I sat on the porch and watched it rain, how enthusiastic I was about harvesting. Even though there were some obstacles!!
1. I had a awful night of pain from yesterday’s harvest of our white potatoes, thanks to my wonderful wife
2. She was preparing for our grandson, so it was just me ( she ended up helping, I’m a weakling)
3. There was an impending storm (I could hear the thunder)

Yet through all of that I still was excited!! Should not we be just as excited about the spiritual harvest!!!
When you prepare a special dish , is not there an eager anticipation of how good it’s gonna be!!
I can see the fruit bursting through the troubles of life, the trials and heartaches we have to go through!! Let us not get complacent, but become eager because, my small natural harvest was nothing compared to what Christ has in store……..”Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared”….
The harvest fed us this morning and I promise it will you also, labour on my friends!!!

It’s Tomorrow Everyone, and “I’m expecting it to be Good”!! Church is ready, the ingredients are coming together for Natural and Spiritual food, God has already promised to meet us there!! All are welcome, Start time @ 11AM

Due to the passing of Sam, We are going to be canceling all services for Tomorrow, Sunday 6/2/24.
Please be much in prayer especially for Cindy, Thier Children, His Mother and for all the Alexander and Eades family as this is a great loss to us all, and to you as well!!

We are so heartbroken that our wonderful Savior chose to heal Sam eternally rather than on this side of Heaven. Sam was one of the kindest , most gentle and caring person you will ever meet, Unity Chapel, as a whole is so heart broken, but we are certainly the better to have known and worshiped with you as a dear brother in Christ!!
