It's a 3B's week! Berea's Bikes and Brews leaves GOKY at 5pm this Friday.

Electric Joyride this Thursday!

Make sure your e-bike and your lights are fully charged. Ride leaves GOKY HQ at 6pm for a 20 mile e-bike night ride. Let's hope the rain stops in time for us to rip.

Not only are our hours changing today but so is our monthly schedule preveiw.

This will be the new look of our monthly event schedule. Not only will you get your usual monthly ride schedule, you'll also get our other events and workshops sprinkled in.

Throughout the winter our "3Bs" ride will continue every other Friday. Berea's Bikes and Brews rides will now depart from GOKY HQ at 5pm instead of 6.

Possibly our last Electric Joyride of the year will leave GOKY HQ at 6pm on Thursday the 7th.

New items you'll see this month include our Roadside Repair Clinic for November and the "GOKY Friendsgiving Potluck Dinner", both of which will be held at GOKY HQ as well.

The Roadside Repair Clinic will cover most issues your typical cyclist is bound to encounter on a ride. A few examples include flat tire repair, dropping the chain and quick derailleur adjustments. This clinic will cost $25 unless you have a free entry from a pervious new bicycle or repair kit purchase.

Our GOKY Friendsgiving Potluck Dinner will be on Friday, November 22nd. We hope that you will join us and give us the chance to show our thanks to those who have supported us throughout the year. So bring your favortie dishes and drinks of your choice to share among the group.

Just like in the past, there will be weekly updates posted and any questions can be answered via calling the store.

Quick reminder, our new HQ hours are Wed-Sat 10am to 5pm, Sunday 1pm to 5pm and we will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Starting Friday, November 1st we will be moving to our "Off Season" hours.
GOKY HQ will now be open Wednesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm and 1pm to 5pm on Sundays. This will allow our rides to leave an hour earlier now that the days are getting shorter.

The store will also be closed on both Mondays and Tuesdays.

This will be our 2024/2025 off season schedule until March.

For those who may need to pick up repairs after 5, after hour pick-ups can be scheduled via calling the store.

This Saturday we are setting up the projector for a Redbull Rampage party. Come join us at GOKY HQ while we stream the most outragous free ride mountainbike event of the year. This will be the first Rampage ever with female competitors, so don't miss this awesome historic event.

Bring your own snacks, refreshments and stoke and watch the best riders in the world shred the most gnar.

We will start streaming the women's comp at 1pm, and follow up with the men's comp around 3pm. Come and go as you wish, or stay and chill the whole time.

This will be the first of many events like this we plan to have. We plan to use events like this to bring the community together and share the joy for rad stuff. At this and most upcoming events of the like, we plan to have a donation helmet. Due to the seasonal nature of our business, we are asking folks to show their appreciation. This will help us create and continue fun events for the communtiy through out the off season.

Only one ride happening this week and its our Electric Joyride. Charge up your e-bike and join us Thursday evening for 20 miles of scneic cruising on the backroads of southern Madison County. Ride will leave GOKY HQ at 6pm.

Come join us for this weeks rides!

First up, Wednsday evening is our GOKY Social Ride. All ages and bicycles welcome for a ride around the park and paved paths. This ride will gather at the Berea Skatepark at 6pm.

Then, Friday night we have our Berea's BIkes and Brews ride. This peppy social ride leaves GOKY HQ at 6pm before riding around 10 or 12 miles then ending for some refreshment and conversation at one our local watering holes.

This October 25th, as the sun sets and shadows creep, prepare to unleash your creativity and pedal into the twilight! The chillingly anticipated Klunkers and Krazies Ride and Bike Show returns, hosted by Get Outside KY (GOKY)!

🕕 Gather at GOKY HQ at 6 PM—where the air is thick with excitement and perhaps a hint of the supernatural. Whether you bring a vintage klunker or a wild custom creation, all bikes are welcome, but the extraordinary will be rewarded!

🕖 As the clock strikes 7 PM, the spooky spectacle shifts to Apollo Pizza Berea, where custom creations will dazzle and thrill. Will your bike be the one that captures the judges’ hearts, or will it become a ghost story whispered among competitors?

👻 But wait—this Halloween edition comes with an extra twist! Join our judged costume contest at Apollo's, where the spookiest, silliest, and most spectacular costumes will vie for hauntingly great prizes across multiple categories!

🔮 Gather your friends, don your best costumes, and ride into the night! Will your bike and your look be the stuff of legends, or will they become tales whispered around the campfire?

Mark your calendars, summon your fellow riders, and prepare for a night of Klunkers and Krazies!

Only ride this week is the Backroad Boogie. This is our 12-15 mph average road ride, aim at riders new to the road scene or for the experienced riders looking to ride and socialize. Grab your road bike and meet us at the store. Ride leaves GOKY HQ @ 6pm and will go about 20 miles.

🚲Super fun rides this week!🚲

Thursday night, we have or regular "Electric Joyride". A nice 20 mile ride for our e-bike riders to enjoy some group ride style backroad routes. Ride leaves GOKY HQ at 6pm.

Friday we'll have a specail version of our " Berea's Bikes and Brews" ride. The group will leave the store at 6pm and ride approximately 10-15 miles at around 10-12 miles per hour average. Mid ride the group will stop for beverages and such before ending the ride at Berea Community School for the annual Hot Air Balloon Glow that kicks off the Spoonbread Festival.
