It's been a while since I've posted an update on Christion. He's doing good. He has about 8 months of chemotherapy left and he will be done with treatment! In less than two months he will be done with 2nd grade at school!

Haven't posted in a while so a little update.
Christion is doing good. Enjoying 2nd grade at school!

The dr. Just came in christion does have pneumonia.. please say a prayer that this heals quickly!!!!

Christion will be going to the clinic tomorrow for IVIG transfusion, then he will be going back on Friday to get his lumbar puncture/spinal chemo that requires sedation. He didn't get it last week due to having a cough.please say a prayer that all goes well the next two days. It's never easy to watch your child be put to sleep, but he handles it like a champ!!

Today didn't go as planned 😕...christion didn't get his spinal chemo/ lumbar puncture due to having a small cough and being high risk for aspiration while sedated. His platelets where low but not low enough for transfusion, and his IGG levels are low again.. he is rescheduled for labs and his spinal on Wednesday. Please pray for his platelets and IGG levels to recover quickly. So he want need any transfusions, and he will be able to get his spinal chemo on Wednesday with no problems! Thank you!!

Christion will be going to the clinic tomorrow for chemo. He will also be sedated for spinal chemo and lumbar puncture, and he will be starting his 5 days of high dose steroids.. asking all that will to please pray for good blood counts and everything to go good during his procedure!

Somebody is excited to be the big 7 tomorrow!!!

Christion didn't get to have his spinal chemo/ lumbar puncture today due to having a little cough.. they have him under high risk due to him aspirating once before... but everything else went great today and he will have his 1st basketball practice tomorrow!!!

Asking all that will please say a prayer for christion.. he goes in the morning for his monthly chemo, and he's suppose to get his lumbar puncture/spinal chemo, and start his 5 days of steroids!!!

Christion has about 20 mins left of his flush then he will be done.. it didn't take as long as planned!!! thank you all for the prayers!!!

Asking all that will to please be praying for christion.. he goes in the morning to get an ivig infusion to boost his immune system..it will take from 4-5 hours.. please pray he doesn't have any reactions or side effects.. he has never had the IVIG before but I know the good lord above has his hand on him!! Thank you all..

Enjoying thanksgiving!! We have so much to be thankful for!!!!!

Christion and Carley got to enjoy the evening with the uk love your melon foundation on a scavenger hunt to meet some of the football players and tour there building!!!

Christion has had a great day today!!Everything went great during his procedure,his counts were good, AND he got the OK to play on his schools basketball team!!!!!!! We are very excited for him!!!! 🏀🎗

Asking all that will to remember christion when you pray.. he goes in the morning to clinic for chemo, and his lumbar puncture and spinal chemo!! He will also be starting another 5 day of high dose steroids, the past few months the steroids have been causing him a lot of back pain!! Thank you all!!!

This little guy got to play in his class soccer game today!!!! It was very exciting to see him enjoy being a kid!!!!

Christion will be heading back to the clinic in the morning for his monthly IV chemo, and his lumbar puncture/ spinal chemo.. Please be in prayer for him for good counts and everything goes good.. Thank you all!!

September marks 1 yr this brave little soldier has been in remission!!! He had only .05% of blast in his bone marrow biopsy.. October will make 1 yr he has been cancer free!! Although he still has roughly a little over 7 yrs before they consider him cured we are so thankful for the answered prayers we have already received and for the praying team we have!!!

So this little guy got the release to be able to go to school tomorrow!!!! It will be his first day ever being in the classroom!!!! He is excited!!! Please pray for a safe healthy school yr for this little guy!!!

So if Christions counts are good tomorrow he will be starting school on Monday!!! We went and discussed everything from naps,snacks,STEROID weak, germs,fevers,ect... So thankful they are willing to do everything possible to help keep him healthy!! So excited for him to be able to step out of his bubble!! Prayers for good counts tomorrow.. And a great healthy 1st grade school yr!!!!

Christions ANC is up to 190 today!! As of now he will be discharged this evening around 7 after his 48 hrs are up..

Just talked to one of the drs. they couldn't find out Christions ANC last night due to pathology being out. But did find out this morning Christions ANC is at 90!!!! So it is increasing and his immune system is coming up!!! Please continue to pray for no more fevers and for his counts to quickly continue to recover!!!

As of right now christion will be admitted into the hospital for a little while receiving antibiotics just in case there's an infection since he has no immune system to fight it.... There not seeing any signs of infection but there keeping an eye on the cultures to make sure no bacteria grows... On the bright side we have one happy boy who is being spoilt like crazy by the nurses!! Please continue to say a prayer for christion!!!!

This mommas a nervous wreck...BUT this kids EXCITED!!! Please say a prayer for him at the ER with fever of 100.5!!!
