Claremont Custom Framing
Enhance your art. Enhance your walls.
Here’s a very large painting of a lighthouse we just floated in this beautiful natural wood Olsen frame from Larson Juhl - always a good choice for naturalist paintings.
A charming map of the state of California! I love the way the undulating curves of the frame mimic the mountains in the piece. Simple, yet effective!
Here’s a very detailed and dramatic woodblock print. I love how the blue makes this piece pop. We chose a thick dark frame with a natural wood texture to play off the lines in the print. Came out great! Optium museum acrylic keeps it lightweight, crystal clear, and offers 99% UV protection.
I adore this miniature painting on a wood panel by an unknown local San Francisco artist! (Wish I knew the name!). We paired with an 8-ply mat and this gorgeous plum colored hardwood frame from Southwest Moulding. Stunning! 🤩
Loving these charming originals our client picked up on the streets of Paris! They look terrific with this lovely shade of blue mat, and fancy silver frames from Decor Moulding. Museum glass keeps it crystal clear and protects from harmful UV light.
Feels like Christmas!🎄 We’ve just received over 100 new corner samples from Bella Moulding!! We’ve been waiting months for these - can’t wait to start using them. The possibilities are endless!! 👀
Check out this whimsical Miro-like abstract print. Because of the lightweight lines, we wanted a design that didn’t overpower the piece. We went with a clean white mat, and hardwood maple frame from Southwest Moulding. Museum glass for clarity and protection.
Last one! Love how the red and blue contrast/complement each other. A lovely piece.
And another. This might be my favorite ❤️
Another of our clients father’s pastels. They remind me of WPA art from the 1930’s! Mat by Crescent, frame by Studio Moulding. Museum glass for clarity and protection.
Same day framing! I can’t always do it, but I can try. This customer came in and told me it was his birthday (and his girlfriend’s), and that he made this for her! ❤️ (he’s a lawyer!). Luckily I had the right materials in hand - this gorgeous silver and white-washed frame from Larson-Juhl, and a textured white Crescent mat. Optium museum acrylic for the win. Happy birthday!🎁🎉🎂
Absolutely love this modernist painting of a reclining figure. It’s heavily textured, and the colors are vibrant and bold. The customer wanted to keep it simple with a plain, black frame - it doesn’t need anything else. 👌
A fun, bold painting like this needs a bold frame! We’ve got you covered with this gem from Fotiou! (Love the way it catches the light).
Here’s a cheerful print of an abstract flower and a sand dollar. We chose this elegant/beachy frame from Fotiou that has a silver highlight to complement the piece. Optium museum acrylic makes it non-glare, and offers 99% UV protection.
Love this beautiful collage - a mixture of torn paper and watercolor! We gave it a sumptuous 8-ply mat and a cheerful yellow frame to make the color pop! A winner! Optium acrylic for clarity and protection.
Here’s a cute little print of a swimmer that we kept clean and simple. A textured white mat and natural maple frame is all it needed. Lovely ❤️
Another of our clients father’s pastels. This one reminds me of my favorite American artist, Thomas Hart Benton!
Here is one of a group of 7 pastel drawings done by our clients father. They were in dingy old frames with faded mats. We freshened them up with all new materials including this great, deep frame from Studio Moulding and a complementary mat by Crescent. Much better 👌
Here is a great pair of plain air paintings that we floated in one of my favorite frames from Omega Moulding! They look great!
Don’t have a cow!! But if you do, stick it in one of the beautiful frames from Fotiou! 😂 Museum glass for clarity and protection.
My talented customer and former fashion designer Marc Foster Grant does these wonderful portraits of celebrities. This is the second one we’ve done for him - Colin Farrell! We had a little fun with this one and ordered a custom black and white frame from Larson Juhl! Came out great!
How lovely is this? An original watercolor that was purchased by our client in Greece. We used an off-white mat with a subtle texture and this gorgeous blue and silver frame from Fotiou! Looks amazing! Museum glass keeps it glare-free and protects from UV light.
Say Hey!! Another talented local Berkeley artist! Believe it or not, this is entirely hand-drawn, including the lettering!! And the likeness of Willie Mays is awesome! We did a simple, clean double white mat and black frame so that the focus would be on the art. Museum glass gives it clarity and protection.
I want to hang with these guys! (I’m guessing that’s not just coffee in those cups).
Here’s a pair of French prints - not sure who the artist is but they are signed! We did a simple and clean frame job with a black frame from Studio Moulding. We put spacers in so the glazing does not touch the art - a must. ;)
