“Hey everyone! I’m Andrea and I’m pursuing an Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Media & Entertainment Business 💿🎸🎥. Alpha Phi stuck out to me from the very start of recruitment, even though I was slightly hesitant to rush. As anyone transitions into new chapters of their life (i.e. college), insecurities are bound to arise as you find your place, especially during rush when it can feel like a judgement of your personhood. However, my experience with the women of Alpha Phi made me feel overwhelmingly appreciated, seen & uplifted for traits that I had never been recognized for. Being met with so much genuine love for the person I am helped me on my own journey of self love, reminding me that I deserved an environment of support and that it would be within Alpha Phi. It’s been amazing to see what being surrounded by this energy has done for my life, and I couldn’t be happier with where I call home! 🏡❣️”

This summer Shri, Aayushi and Sevina had the privilege of studying entrepreneurship and innovation at the European Innovation Academy in Portugal 🇵🇹! Hear about their summer abroad and how their alpha phi friendship blossomed as they traveled Europe together :)

“As someone who is extremely passionate about entrepreneurship, EIA created a space for me to explore my entrepreneurial endeavors alongside accomplished mentors and teammates from numerous national universities. Doing this experience with two of my best friends was like no other. As women who are extremely hardworking and , we worked hard all day and explored the beautiful city of Porto by night. I wouldn’t have wanted to do this experience with anyone else ❤️” - Sevina

“The best part about the trip was meeting so many new people and becoming super close to our cohort. Being in Europe for the first time with so many people from Berkeley made me appreciate home but also the beauty of the culture in Portugal. I learnt so many new things and am super excited to visit more places with my sisters :)” -Shri

“This past summer was a dream come true!During the program, we learned fundamental entrepreneurship principles and worked in teams to brainstorm and prototype a technological solution to a pressing global problem. We then pitched our business ideas to venture capitalists and angel investors. Along the way, we met incredible people from all over the world and made unforgettable memories together. Forever happy I got to experience this with my sisters
