John Muir PTA has been working closely with our school teachers and staff on preparing for a safe return to school. Beyond the supplies provided by the school district, there are additional supplies, improvements and help needed to provide the best protection possible for our valuable school community.
These are just a few of the wish list items:
(1) Additional masks and preparation supplies
(2) Individual supply kits for each student
(3) High quality air purifiers for each classroom
(4) Site COVID manager to support Mr. Taylor and the front office for COVID-related logistics( our biggest ask!)
(5) Additional teacher mini-grants for additional expense on classroom preparedness
(6) Facility improvements including: fixing locks on outdoor facing classroom doors, electrical work, sinks, etc.
(7) Voice amplifiers to speak over the air purifiers
