Part of journaling is about self-discovery. As we grow and become more intuitive and insightful, we sometimes begin to see ourselves differently. Perhaps we move from seeing what others want us to be to who we truly want to be. Today's journaling exercise is less about goals and more about what makes you, There was a parable I once read that stated that when you die God won't ask why weren't you more like Moses, or Abraham, or David. He will ask you, why weren't you fully you? Write down all the things that you make you who you are.
Breathe in wellness, breathe out stress. Discover the magic of essential oils at our workshop on November 15th at 5pm. Class is limited to 12 participants, click on the link in our bio or go to www.acadiacounselingandwellness.com

What a great group we had for our Journaling Workshop last week. I hope everyone walked away with a new idea about how they can use a personal or business related journal. Think about all 8 realms: Intellectual, Emotional, Environmental, Spiritual, Physical, Social, Occupational, and Financial.
Are you coming to our Journaling Workshop tonight?? If not, last week we posted about using journaling as a way to measure progress toward your goals. Journal weekly on your steps that week and your progress.
This week is national Kids' Goal Setting Week. Here are some tips on how to help our younger generations make achievable goals and put them on a path to lifelong success.
Journaling is something I recommend to just about everyone. It can serve so many purposes from helping relieve anxiety, to problem solving, to serving as a means of healing from past trauma. Some people use it as a way to hold themselves accountable to goals or to even just journal their experiences. We will be holding a Journaling Workshop on October 10th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm where you can come learn different journaling techniques and start your own. In case you can't make it we will be posting a journaling topic for you every Tuesday this month. If you'd like to attend go to our website and sign up at www.acadiacounselingandwellness.com or give up a call at 410-973-2567. Hope to see you there.
