Yesterday was a perfect day for a zoo adventure! The sun was shining, the animals were playful, and the crowd was lively (but that parking struggle though - 1.5hrs of searching 🥲).

It was exactly what I need to get my creativity flowing. I have lots of cool cake photos I will be posting this week, and some exciting new flavors that I'm working on 😁

All summer Tobi was complaining about how the boys were bullying the girls at summer camp, and how he kept sticking up for the girls, especially his crush (I need to unpack that later 😳 lol), and the girls made him a trophy for not joining in, but because of that, the boys started bullying him too.

So we saw the Barbie movie like 2 weeks ago and he loved it. This immediately sparked a host of questions, which then resulted in a search through his bookshelf and we found 2 books that we've been reading for the last 2 weeks (the one on the left was a gift from my former boss - he is such a cool guy) and the other one was a gift from a family friend. All these complex conversations resulted in some super deep thoughts, that ultimately got him thinking about morality and individuality and culminated in a new hair style (no we didn't bleach his hair, but it is permanent color). Reflective of the time spent working with her and wishing her nothing but the best and continued growth 💕

However, no need to fret! All of the CrumbCrusherCupcakes original recipes will all still be available and include:
all of the Gluten Free and Vegan selections, as well as my signature Honey Lavender, Espresso Mocha, Funfetti, Horchata, Vegan Red Velvet, Brown Butter Banana, Cookie Butter, Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Oreo, Vanilla Oreo, Mexican Vanilla, Strawberry, Lemon Pound Cake, Pumpkin Spice & Salted Caramel Apple.

Ok so working on this Grecian first birthday was an absolute pleasure 😍 I think this cake is in my top favorite 5 that I've made!!! And the cookies and cupcakes are so sparkly. Do you see those strawberries and cake pops!? And a huge credit to the amazing Dania, the owner of Lux_balloon_ she came through, even though it was a last minute request, and exceeded expectations as always 💖🎉 I'm in awe of her work and those columns are so freaking cool!!! And last but not least my wonderful mother Natalie for setting up the table so beautifully ❤️

OMG, February was soooo busy, and I got to make so many amazing cakes. A big thanks to everyone last month with all of the challenging requests 💪🏾 pushing to new heights! My sculptures have drastically improved (I mean look at those chubby little unicorns, that Demogorgon head, and those tiny stranger things cupcake toppers!)

Also, the white ruffle on that teal and pink vintage cake is buttercream frosting!!!! NOT FONDANT 😱😱😱

And the AI generated photos of my grandmother and brother came out so perfectly, like seriously what an ode to Black History Month ✊🏽❤️
