Couldn’t let tonight slip by without sharing this. Today, this picture showed up in my memories, reminding me of one of my very first balloon creations. I stayed up half the night putting it together. Five years ago, I didn’t know the first thing about balloons; all I had was a calling from God to start a balloon business. If perseverance was a picture, this would be it.

Five years later, there aren’t enough words to capture God’s goodness to me. Here’s the short version: Our first clients were corporate. I became a Certified Balloon Artist (CBA) in 2020. We’ve brought joy with our amazing balloon designs in Shelby, Jefferson, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, and Wilcox counties/etc, reached across the globe to London and Indiana, and next month we’re heading to Pennsylvania to the The Big Balloon Build where I’ll be a team leader for working alongside with the worlds most talented/top balloon artists. The second picture shows what the Big Balloon Build looks like—a testament to hard work and passion. If perseverance was a picture, this would be it too.

Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned pro, perseverance is essential. It wasn’t easy then, and it’s still not easy now… but God! He has opened so many doors for Balloon Studio & More LLC and the best is still on the horizon.

Instant gratification fades. Stay humble, faithful, and committed. Push yourself, pray, invest in your growth, attend conferences, be the best you can be, compete with yourself, and learn all you can. No matter how hard it gets, giving up isn’t an option! This is your season! Ephesians 3:20—God is about to do something incredible for you! Watch Him work! Lastly, take time to live, vacation, laugh & love - life can be short. Savor the entire journey. ❤️🙌🏾 God is faithful.

Our fearless leader, Charlotte Ford, is doing it again, being a Champion of Change. She will be attending her 2nd Big Balloon Build (BBB). She has been selected to join a team of the world’s best balloon artists to create an amazing balloon wonderland in Northern Indiana. The BBB is an international balloon event. All proceeds from this event will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana. Hundreds applied, only 80 selected to create an immersive balloon land out of 150,000+ biodegradable balloons.

What’s equally exciting is that one of her employees, who is also her son, Joshua Wilson will be attending as well. Mom & Son - Champions of Change, bringing hope through the joy of balloons!

The interview on the Big Balloon Build in London & my new book “A Second Chance at Life” with Jonathan Skinner WBRC was priceless! I was physically & mentally exhausted from traveling back from the London and nervous about the interview. Jonathan Skinner has such a beautiful, kind and zealous spirit. When he walked in my shop Balloon Studio & More LLC his smile ignited the atmosphere. He has a true zeal, love & passion for what he does. Brandon, I didn’t get your last name but thank you for talking with me as well.
