It’s the 1st day of National Women’s History Month. If you’re new or a loyal friend, allow me to introduce myself. Hi, I’m Carmen, the woman behind and I feel so grateful for your support. I know it's been quiet (totally not me) but I am back with a story…Please stay a little and allow me to explain.

The end of my summer ‘22 and heading into a new year enjoying life with my family and friends. Enjoying grandma duties with my new love Leonardo, my grandson. Traveling to Madrid and Portugal and having the best time of my life. OMG! What a gift! Then I started to experience some discomfort, I decided to go to the doctor and life stopped. I was diagnosed in November with Tongue Cancer! Yep! Just like that, you wonder, what’s next?

Well, as women, we wear many hats, but this one, I had no idea how I was going to make it fabulous! I took a big breath and said, "Ok, let's do this! One day at a time. I removed myself from the outside noise and surrounded myself with the love and support of my children and a few friends.

January 2023 - my recovery was going well. Packed my bags and headed to my beloved Puerto Rico with my brothers and family. I continued healing by the ocean and was surrounded by nature. It's amazing how love heals. Now it was time to come back with a new perspective and re-lit passion to do what I know best—taking care of my family and bringing out their best. Did I say I am C-free!! Yay!

If you have been with me a while, you know that I am a woman of Faith. I can explain what force took my mind and my being; I trusted the process and knew that everything was going to be okay. My dear friends, I hope you will read this post with the deepest love in your heart, let’s celebrate life - Carmen XOXOXO
