How cute are these owl decorations!? They are made from a simple yard brick and a little paint!

Our residents enjoyed making Cookie Monster in a jar and Grandma's Delight with our Dining Director, Amy. Grandma's Delight consists of a strawberry pineapple fluff and ranch crackers (it might sound odd, but it is fantastic)!

We are loving this new breakfast item at the bistro, the Ham and Swiss Souffle! The bistro has a new expanded menu which now offers breakfast pizza, empanadas, and two different souffles.

We had a great turnout for our Memorial Day Cookout, and it was a perfect day to enjoy our outdoor patio and honor those who have gone before us serving our country.

What a cute decoration for our resident's front doors! This craft is Uncle Sam and is made from just yarn and popsicle sticks! Simple and cute, the best of both worlds!

Our residents had a blast with these aqua-paints! This is a craft where you just paint with water and the picture appears. Just like magic! It was fun to watch our residents' expressions when a beautiful painting appeared!

Our residents had so much fun at Camp Courageous Young at Heart Day! We had four residents make the journey to the camp. They participated in ziplining, train rides, mini golf, and a petting zoo. Consider this a yearly trip from now on!

Our dining team is simply the best! The best bakers and the best people! Today they made homemade barbarian cream and chocolate donuts for breakfast. Yum!

Happy Mother's Day! We celebrated with a Mother's Day Tea with harpist Gretchen and had wonderful tea-time treats! This event was extra special for us as we had 4 generations of family here to celebrate!

Friday was one of our favorite events of the year, Memories in the Making! Memories in the Making is a fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association where people living with dementia participate in an art therapy program and if the artwork is chosen, then it is auctioned. We had four art pieces chosen from Quartet! These 4 paintings raised $4500 for the Alzheimer's Association!

This past week was prom for Lauryn and Amyra at Davenport West High School. Lauryn and Amyra both work at Quartet Senior Living on the dining team and wanted to stop by to take prom pictures with our residents on their way to the dance. Employing high school students at Quartet Senior Living provides them with valuable opportunities for growth and development. Not only do they learn valuable workplace skills but also life skills from our residents who become like family. 🫶

Rain rain go away! While the weather has been warm, it is still very rainy in the Quad Cities, but we won't let that stop us from having an indoor picnic! We enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, watermelon, and "dirt cups" for dessert.

Did you know Quartet offers a guest suite for families who are visiting their loved ones? It is $100 a night and can be reserved at the front desk or by calling us at 563-293-2050.

Who doesn't love an ice cream social?! Our dining team made delicious homemade ice cream for this party, and we had a great turn out. We had lots of fun toppings; Oreo, sprinkle, marshmallow, caramel, and chocolate to name a few!
