By Sandra Costa with Hand painted Fresco ceiling work by Kavai. Murano glass chandelier brought in from Italy to BH by my client Nickie Shaperio. Custom Italian chairs with an amazing indestructible velvet fabric. Walls are Chinese Red lacquer with a 10 level application on super smooth walls. By the one and only Doni Flannigan and the beautiful roses from my clients garden. Then Angelo Costa steps in with his miracle talent and captures the room and WHAT WE DO BEST on film. DESIGN.

In 1995 I started making custom furniture with fabulous fabrics and top notch construction and today I still love making vision into reality. 10 years ago I made these pieces then reupholstered them a few years ago. They are classic with a transitional flair.

Do you see that design has hit every channel with advertisements on Interior Design and how to decorate a room? The viewer is shown how a click here and there can put rooms of furniture together to look like a magazine. BUT... something is missing and it's not as easy as they say.

The design advertisements are good for retail sales. Fast and easy with delivery in 48 hours the room ends up looking like a clone of multiple boring houses with no real style or personality. Good for certain situations, however, a good portion of the furniture is built from spit and glue and is the devil in disguise. A lot of junk to choose from. The good news is there are industry professionals with total vision who will bring life into your place and provide you with options.
The ad agency won't share that a well-planned design with USA-made eco-friendly products changes your living environment and the value moves from basic to "Special ". They are hired to sell the public on buying furniture so the DESIGN Pitch does not really help the wonderful design professionals who are the ones making dreams come true.

I AM DESIGN.
My work is not a room of furniture without detail and passion. My work is art. At the age of twelve I made drawings of houses. I lived in New Zealand and had limited access to architecture or stylish furnishings so I created my own. I look at the wonderful photography of my work taken by Angelo Costa. His eye for the finest composition turns every room I create into a work of art. He captures details that are worthy to be appreciated and I have beautiful clients who love the style I bring to their homes.
