Our Story:
I believe the legacy of every human being can be realized. Most of us are not developing the kind of legacy that allows us to be as happy and satisfied as we'd like it to be. I coach, think and speak about achieving personal life legacies so that others can see a way forward with greater simplicity. If the path to legacies is inspiring and supported, more people will be able to experie
Accumulating external success to never have to feel the past or present – allows one to focus on the future as an escape. But for most founders and entrepreneurs, this future falls short when tragedy arrives (again) and you find yourself at the choice point of reviewing the movie of life, a cross roads to make different choices in a second chance as well as to reset the family patterns. When no one else is willing to be the leader, you might just find yourself going against the karma of the past in order to design that better legacy. So what if in force and magnetics, you are left only to draw in different people in the development of that legacy plan?
In this episode, I speak with business owner Alan Lazaros about how “social courage" matters in one’s ability to stand up for the value of their legacy, compared to being a “social coward” in not telling the truths. Alan talks about healing his trauma in facing his flight, fight and fawn responses and seeing mortality as an emotional experience compared to an intellectual concept. Alan breaks down his journey as well as remedies to help anyone achieve their legacy mission, whether you’re living with “boats and BS” or an “abandoned by all” lonely achiever’s lifestyle. Tune in and learn how to design your fulfilling legacy plan without sacrificing your identity or values!

As a business owner, you might want a great culture for your company but how do you create it with your employees when there’s systemic mistrust? It can feel like we live in a traumatized society, even if it’s also an exciting time for opportunities! So how can you trust what’s possible when there’s a massive gap between fear and courage? After all, we can feel our environments when we walk into a room and this sets the tone for success or failure. But in order to create the upward spiral, we need to get beyond our brains staying hijacked by any frequency of anxiety or volatility. And to do that, you need to invest in your culture – externally and internally.
In this week’s episode of the ‘Design Your Legacy’ podcast, now ranked in the top 5% globally, hostess Angelina Carleton speaks with Magi (Margaret) Graziano, author of “Ignite Culture”. Magi shares what sets the tone for her legacy as well as what sets the tone for the right workplace cultures … starting with one’s noble cause and human needs. What’s the real reason to design your life’s legacy? What’s the calling for your legacy? Just as Magi has her secret sauce to ignite workplace cultures, she too has put her time in to define her legacy vision. Learn how culture is a two-way street (employers and employees) to convert the energy in any organization. Listen in and hear Magi's story of how she battle-tested her strategies to move any state of mind from friction to flow, as she lives into her values!

You may have heard the phrase “the stars incline, but they do not compel” in fate vs. freewill. But “location, location, location” may be just as important when designing your legacy as it is with the acquisition of real estate. Many entrepreneurs struggle to align with their higher selves, let alone find peace of mind given the pace we are living at today where stress became normalized. And yet, you might be wondering: How can I find harmony and peace within, if I can’t get to the ideal peaceful places on Earth?
In this podcast episode, hostess Angelina Carleton speaks with Indra Rinzler, a seasoned vedic astrologer about how Astro Cartography can help you better design your legacy plans. Indra talks about how most people today want to heal their inner child and personify this intention on the outside, as he shares the four doorways to conscious living. You’ll learn why your Enneagram of Personality matters in your core personality and core triggers and, how to get out of the movie of your life and into the audience to let go of what no longer serves you. Listen in and discover the secrets of how the ‘wheel of life’ can help you better design your legacy in your free will.

What does it take to capture your family’s best memories? It’s easy to think of your legacy only in terms of assets and image. But that belief around only money, or materialism, can leave you empty – feeling lonely when we as humans need and find meaning through connection. But what if your greatest wealth lies in dusty boxes filled with decades of photographs as well as online images that just require organization and an artistic touch? The truth is, you came from love and were born into love no matter your family’s struggles against all odds.
In this week’s episode, hostess Angelina Carleton speaks with Haleh Shoa, Founder and CEO of Picturli in Los Angeles, CA (USA). They talk about how we are wired to know where we come from, even if the human experience is joyful and bittersweet. Haleh shares profound insights about what happens when her clients see well-organized albums, as well as gallery walls, slideshows and a variety of other formats... in what it means to plans for the next 7 generations in love. We are reflected in our ancestors, and vice versa. She unveils how to make your photos really safe as well as the benefits of being connected to your past. The enemy of holistic legacy planning is not having a plan. Not only is this true if you are in the early stages of growing your wealth or if you are in a multi-generational family of wealth. But how many times do we put off the difficult conversations around money, mortality or even balancing checkbooks? That kind of bobbing at sea can leave you to figure out your legacy plans the same way your parents did, without a lot of support.
In this week’s episode, hostess Angelina Carleton speaks with Andrew Van Alstyne, an investment advisor representative and fiduciary about the five forms of capital (spiritual, social, intellectual, human and lastly, financial). He also talks about the five biggest problems we are facing today: not wanting to outlive one’s financial capital, concerns around complacency for the next generations in how they will build upon prior intellectual capital, control from the grave through wills and trusts, women as the beneficiaries of wealth with $31T to be passed in the next decade and their questions of ‘what to do next?” as well as how to create a family bank. What’s at stake is the human capital so as to not create ‘country club kids’. Tune in to hear more, including how Andrew is designing his holistic legacy vision!

Does facing your family’s "four horsemen of the apocalypse" make you want to rather have a drink, go shopping or eat as an escape? We’ve all been there! We all want to feel safe in our relationships but how do you define these words, along with power, money or even communication when it comes to our rules, biases and what we are willing to fight for. It’s easy to think that financial security creates emotional security, but it doesn’t. Even if you have the best governance documents, how can you design a legacy when you haven’t had the vulnerable conversations when it comes to what you tell yourself internally as well as family dynamics?
In this podcast episode, hostess Angelina Carleton speaks with Francesco Lombardo of Veritage about how we can fight for your biases, including “the cottage”, what all of it represents based on our perspective of biases. All you need to understand is that there are multiple examples of best as well as worst family traditions that play out until we consciously choose to create new emotional traditions. Often the distinction between those who take personal agency of their health and those that don’t is access to a great network and an understanding of the system. For most entrepreneurs and affluent family members, it’s not that they want to just accept the first medical opinion given to them, it’s that they don’t know that they have choices and now is the time to prepare. Remedying this problem begins with learning about the centers of excellence in the world (Dubai, Monaco, USA?), the best consulting practitioners and where the best hospitals are for when you travel to your next city. So how could it help you to carry an SIP medical card with your unique data to create less stress for your family?
In this week’s podcast episode, hostess Angelina Carleton speaks with SIP Medical Family Office Director Kevin Burchler about what he experienced firsthand while in his military service in Switzerland that inspires his mission today. He shares how longevity, as in the highest quality of life possible, is a trend amongst the affluent along with a focus on their mental health given the high expectations. He also shares 5 practical tips, also the 5 pillars of SIP, of where you too can get started today to take ownership of your health and healthcare data! Feel free to say "no" ... but does it make sense to design your legacy ... if it gives you purpose for your life beyond short term goals?
Once you realize your legacy might be how other speak of you and remember you when you aren’t in the room, you start paying attention. This is where the perfect conversation comes in. Learning to communicate effectively, both in words as well as in your photographs, is the first step to proficiency as well as mastery. For example, a great quarterback (in American football) performs for the winning touchdown has training that is broad and with multiple facets. So too should your holistic legacy planning be broad and with many facets!

Have you ever wondered if emotions are stored energy? Yes, entrepreneurs are busy, but what if it is also a coping mechanism? We can pump ourselves up with coffee and high vibrations but what if you feel overwhelmed by echoes of the past? Where emotions are stored in your nervous system and tension builds up and you can’t ever fully relax. Anyone with anxiety is tense as they hold all of that voltage of energy inside. Yet, we live in a society where validation and approval feel good when we perform well. But imagine if you had your best months in business only for it to be followed by panic attacks? How do you handle your inner emotions when the pressure is on?
In this week’s episode, hostess Angelina Carleton sits down with John Graham, entrepreneur and 3-time world champion in memory competitions who has performed in front of 400 million people. John and Angelina speak about how he had struggled with anxiety for 20 years before finding the answers in his heart and soul. He shares how he learned to allow the anxiety to wash over him and how vulnerability is one’s capacity to speak truth. What will be in the pages of his Legacy hard cover coffee table book? How about how he made peace with everything that bothered him... and how you can too. Tune in to hear insights on why your inner legacy is more important! What are you passing on generationally?

Often, the hardest part of change has to do with when we can no longer look at the world as we wish it to be, we have to look at it as it is. First, there was the pandemic, then US taxation of unrealized capital gains adding to the stress, then a US ultra-millionaire tax by politicians. So how do you arbitrage yourself to exist in different jurisdictions? The US feels different today compared to a decade or two ago … whether it’s political polarization or radical prejudice – when it gets too close to your family’s wealth and well-being, it’s time to consider which country is best if you are a golden goose. Many Americans don’t realize they can only stay in Europe for 90 days. Whether it’s external or internal forces (ie. rivalry for leadership, population management, etc), the world is changing and we won’t even bring up the talk around the 2% billionaire’s tax.
In this episode, hostess Angelina Carleton speaks again with David Lesperance JD about second citizenship opportunities as well as protections. When you have a wider view of the world as well as more to lose, it’s smart ‘legacy planning’ to deal with both the immediate and long-term future challenges. When a variety of countries seek your domicile and/or residence, it’s time to tune in to hear why a second or third passport can be your next best investment … especially when compliance now rules the roost in the banking world. Tune in to make the most of your choices, time and family's legacy!

We’re all aware there will come an innate time when designing your legacy will be of utmost importance. Both to preserve the best of your life as well as your family’s history, especially when there’s no one left to carry forward what’s been built. So no one forgets what’s been built, given that we are here for the blink of an eye. So what if you started designing your legacy before you got back to ‘being busy’? What is it you will leave behind for the NextGen? How will they carry that vision and those values forward? How does and will your legacy move?
In this week’s episode, hostess Angelina Carleton speaks with Benjamin Brown, former US Marine turned business owner. Together, they speak about Ben’s journey from growing up on a farm in South Carolina, getting adopted, and his three best practices of: Don’t worry so much, get out of your own way, and move. What if you could pass on a legacy of gratitude through proper mentors and understanding the guiding principle of ‘nothing means nothing’ in not attaching emotions to avoid going in circles. You’ll also learn Ben’s sales secrets of how he has made multiple business prosper. Listen in and feel inspired by Ben’s legacy vision to be ‘a good conscience person who did the best he could’!

Most entrepreneurs think of the expression “money makes the world go round” but what if it’s that ‘people make the world go round’? Where money is an abstraction of human ambition? Yes, an economist’s point of view is that capital matters but let’s be honest: you leaned into your core values when you thought of your best business ideas as time disappeared and your excitement increased. So how do you develop your wild ambition or process the moments when things don’t work out? How do you become emotionally intelligent with your tone and the words that come out so as to keep your closest relationships and not just talk to Siri, Alexi or ChatGPT?
In this week’s episode, hostess Angelina Carleton speaks with Charney Kaye, the Founder of XJ Music who is a lifelong hacker, artist and musician.
