Here’s a fantastic example of endoscopic browlift healing! These videos show the incisions immediately after surgery and 3 weeks post-op. As you can see, the incisions have healed beautifully - they’re barely noticeable and there’s no visible hair loss. This minimally invasive technique offers fantastic results with minimal downtime. At 3 weeks, it’s normal to have some slight thinning of hair near the incisions, and the hair will grow back in the next few weeks to months. I minimize cautery during the surgery and also minimize tension during the closure through several layer closure technique, all of which have helped my patient’s incisions recover as quick as possibly. Up to a third of patients that I perform a lower lid blepharoplasty have had prior under eye fillers, and they need be dissolved prior to surgery. Fillers that are persistent after surgery can often result in many issues such as prolonged swelling, visible product, bumps and other issues. In this video, I break down the process and explain how hyaluronidase, a special enzyme, can help prepare my patients for surgery and the best outcome.
