There’s so much I could say about these two and how amazing Friday was but I’ll keep it short and sweet: life has few coincidences and true love always finds us right on time. I know Gabby and Ryan know that better than most and the way they admire and so deeply love each other is beyond special. And they know how to throw quuiiiite the party — can’t wait to share more soon!

It’s a wedding filled weekend for me and I’m so ready for it — but I want to call them something else. Sure they’re weddings — but they are really gatherings of love, celebrations of friendship, declarations of unconditional commitment to the journey of life with another soul. They are uniquely honest and with any luck carefree expressions of love and joy: toasts, dancing, laughing, happy tears and some sad tears too. They are maybe the one day of your life where all the people you love most are in one room. After the last few years, weddings hold a new weight and are no doubt something to celebrate. And document with heart. Cheers to that!

Nothing better than that almost summer, empty beach, rocky New England coastline magic 💫 Can’t even wait to celebrate these two and their effortless love in Maine come October!

This weekend was my last before wedding season officially kicks off + then it’s a wild ride through the end of the year. I’ve been doing lots of running around to get ready with the hope that with each wedding celebration I’m lucky enough to be a part of I’ll be able to really slow down + focus on the good stuff. Be present. Pay attention. The emotional moments of a wedding day are exactly what draws me in. I laugh. I cry. l can’t help but feel alongside all of the anticipation, joy, the quick pangs of grief when loved ones are witnessing from above, the simple embraces, the messy moments. My only goal is to give back the fleeting moments so that you can remember, too.

I love everything about all of it. 2022 is about to be real good 💫

Happy love day! Reminiscing on this fun creative shoot from last Valentines Day ❤️ So many amazing and talented local vendors (all tagged!) helped make it happen + it’s got me dreaming up some fun projects for this year — stay tuned 🥰

The first month of a new year often feels like a never ending to do list of resolutions and projects to tackle with fresh energy and newfound habits, and to be honest — this month I’ve slowed down more than I ever have.
Last year took me to so many beautiful places and magical celebrations but it was a full out year of hustle. Reflecting on all the good and challenging, I’ve really refocused on how I want to occupy this space and I keep coming back to simple moments of love and connection, that I truly feel grateful to be witnessing.

I strive to create images that freeze time — which in my personal life has been a somewhat bittersweet inspiration for the way I approach capturing memories. The gift of memory is just that — a gift. And one that is not guaranteed. But the joy of photographs is that they can bring us back. They can reconnect us to moments that may otherwise fade over time — the last few moments with your parents before walking down the aisle, the way the sun danced through the trees, meaningful embraces and joyful laughter over homemade pie.

Looking forward to all the unique love stories I’ll have the honor to document this year, with intention and gratitude.

Next week this little biz (officially) turns ONE! and I’ll be celebrating my gratitude for that with some special offerings, but for now — just here to say thank you, thank you, thank you! for every person who has supported my work, it means the world. Shopping local and supporting small business brings communities together, lifts entrepreneurs up and brings a whole lot of joy to those who make, create and have the courage to put their passion out into the world with the hopes it’ll be loved right back.
