Our 144 years in business have allowed us to work on many interesting projects with different types of clients.

In 2019, we had the opportunity to work on a project for site work subcontractor W. L. French Excavating Corporation. It was a privilege to be selected as the design-builder on this 60,000 SF, ground up corporate HQ and maintenance facility for French.

Our office has been at 152 Conant Street in Beverly, MA, since 1989, but before we settled into our current home headquarters, we originally resided in Beverly Farms, where past generations of the Connolly family tenaciously worked to grow our company legacy. This Thursday, we are throwing it back to 20 Oak Street where the Connolly office formerly ran its operations for over 100 years.

Connolly Brothers sponsored the North Shore Chamber of Commerce, Inc.’s Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, July 22nd, at the Ipswich Country Club.

A member since 2011, Connolly is proud to support the Chamber as it advocates for the continued growth of the North Shore business community.

This month, we would like to spotlight our Project Accounting Specialist, Aimee McNeil!

Aimee joined the Connolly team in 2023 and is responsible for bridging the gap between construction operations and accounting by tracking the overall project finances and budget from the start of each project to its completion. As project finance support, her role also requires a strong knowledge base of not only financial reporting but also the aspects of construction work and what goes into a collaborative and successful build.

In her free time, Aimee enjoys traveling and adventuring with her family, whether it’s hiking, exploring different countries, or skydiving.

Connolly Brothers recently completed build-out of a 234,282 square-foot warehouse project for Ferguson.

Located in Taunton, MA, the new 40-foot clear high-bay warehouse required modifications to facilitate installation of specialized equipment such as an extensive floor-to-ceiling racking system designed to manage inventory of over 60,000 Ferguson products.

“We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Ferguson on this exciting Ship Hub project and commend the entire project team for working through a very tight schedule to successfully deliver this project on time,” says Connolly Brothers President and CEO, Jay Connolly. “We very much look forward to continuing our relationship with Ferguson moving forward.”

We were thrilled to sponsor the YMCA of Metro North’s 39th Annual Fore the Kids Golf Tournament on Monday, June 24th at the Kernwood Country Club in Salem, MA. All money raised from this tournament will go toward funding educational programs and opportunities for the community’s youth. Thank you to the YMCA of Metro North for hosting such a fun event!

Connolly Brothers President and CEO, Jay Connolly, recently stepped into a new leadership role as Advisory Board Member for the Peter Frates Family Foundation. Inspired by the tenacious late Pete Frates, the Peter Frates Family Foundation advocates for ALS awareness and research and seeks to assist ALS patients with the financial burden of home health care.

Connolly Brothers recently completed a new two-story, 27,500 square-foot Tri-City Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram design-build auto dealership project. Once a former drive-in movie theater site, the new dealership is located on Route 108 in Somersworth, New Hampshire, and serves as a Sales and Service Auto Dealership for all four CDJR brands.

Working in the construction industry means being able to see the growth and potential of each project, both old and new. For us, this process is the most exciting part of the job. This month, our team began construction on a recently awarded auto dealership renovation project for Herb Chambers Lincoln of Westborough in Westborough, MA. 🚗

Connolly Brothers Inc. is elated to announce that David Garand has joined our team as an in-house Estimator. David has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, advancing his career from assistant superintendent to chief estimator and vice president of preconstruction. His passion for construction hails back to the 1970s when he began working as a framing carpenter on luxury condos in Lake Tahoe. Along with holding certifications as a Master Project Manager (MPM) and Certified International Project Manager (CIPM), David’s expertise includes working with a diverse group of clients in the retail, large-scale housing, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, educational, institutional, and historic restoration sectors.

“David brings a great deal of insight and experience to our conceptual and hard bid estimating services,” says Tom Dionne, Vice President of Preconstruction Services & Design.
