I’m a sucker for a cowboy bar & lounge, so when my client asks to turn his sun deck into just that…. I giddy all the way up!
Custom branded, hair-on-hide, swivel-recliners from brought us 4 of these gorgeous chairs, comfy as hell too, and I couldn’t wait to share their craftsmanship!

We still have to replace the carpet with hardwood floors, update the bathroom…etc. but the completed custom bed and custom bedding is just too beautiful not to share! The client has always wanted a western star carved bed but never imagined one this special! The bedding from Thread Redemption is what has me absolutely swooning! Tying in our brindle cowhide as the welt on our custom bolster is my, personal, favorite detail!

In case we haven’t met yet… 👋🏼 I’m Taryn and I get to live my dream every day thanks to amazing interior design and architectural design clients. I’ve been fortunate in life to grow up at my grandfather’s wood bench, to study interior design and architecture under some of the greatest minds, and to work alongside exceptional building and design professionals.

My favorite projects are remodels, hands down! Reimagined, redesigned and rebuilt spaces bring the greatest satisfaction, for me. It’s a privilege to have the trust of clients when they share their dreams and goals; there is a necessary level of vulnerability on the clients end to ensure their space is intentionally, thoughtfully and beautifully curated. Remodels are always an emotional process and are, indeed, a labor of love!

When I’m not nerding out on all things design I’m guaranteed to be adventuring with “my boys”…my sweetheart is a total gear head, an absolute adrenaline ju**ie and is also incredibly creative! He’s also one of my favorite builders! We have two German shorthaired pointers that will overwhelm anyone who doesn’t operate at full throttle 90% of the time. These busy boys have excellent manners, but they lack awareness when it comes to personal space. IYKYK.

This idyllic, lake-front Montana ranch suite is getting the golden touch. Perfectly tailored bedding for this client’s custom bed will be elegant and timeless. Thoughtfully curating every space through the lens of our clients dreams.

We can’t wait to see this bar come to life! Our client is an ex team roper and a whiskey sommelier…so cool! I couldn’t help but design some custom shelves that will be made with snaffle bits to bring a nostalgic and personal element to his cowboy bar. Seeing what backsplash the client chose was so much fun for this one too!

The soft finishes are going in and we are feeling more excited than ever! Some things old, some things new…. Nothing’s borrowed! But we do love blue!

The final elements of this full-gut remodel are coming together beautifully! There has been no shortage of surprises…these walls did their share of talking. has brought our vision to life and made it that much better! Their entire team helped come up with creative and functional solutions for structural elements that we were unable to alter (which, let me tell you these 70’s units are special!). Remodels can be overwhelming, they are guaranteed to throw a few curve balls and budgets can get strained! Having such a dedicated building crew and focused client has made this one of our favorites!

New year. Fresh new face. This river-front home in Bigfork, MT is nestled between the beautiful Swan Mountain Range and Flathead Lake; it’s a perfect balance of mountain and modern flowing in harmony. (Our last touches aren’t even in yet!)

When you work between two states it’s important to have a solid team and without Rachael on mine it would be d@mn near impossible! So many fun little touches that made this luxury rental, parade of homes award winner, Mountain Living Magazine People’s Choice Award winner an incredible project to be a part of! It was getting to know the owners so well that made this place special; they are the most gracious and inviting hosts and that really poured over in this house that can be rented by other families visiting Breckenridge. I know any time I am there it’s hard to leave! |
