Well unfortunately the birdfeeder & birdbath bandits hit us again! I am SO SAD that someone felt they had to steal (for the 2nd time mind you), our bird feeder AND bird bath that was behind our office. The birds, squirrels and rabbits greatly enjoyed our daily feedings, time and attention just as much as WE (my staff) enjoyed watching them! It is just disheartening that once again these furry and feathered friends of ours are left without because someone has sticky fingers and for what reason? GEEZ PEOPLE- BUY YOUR OWN!!!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and so we encourage you to take time to be screened or checked! Early detection is the key to successfully kicking cancer! There are lots of great resources available for men and women who need to get mammograms and can't afford them. Also insurances do include mammograms as part of their wellness health screenings so they often are covered 100%. So please take time for yourself, take care of yourself and get checked! Picture Perfect Ultrasound does not perform mammography on-site but we do all kinds of medical ultrasounds. ❤️

If you feel a pulse in your neck, that is likely the Carotid artery which is a vital blood vessel bringing blood flow to your brain, face, mouth etc. Picture Perfect Ultrasound does these types of medical imaging called Carotid Doppler or Carotid Duplex studies. The ultrasound is well tolerated and easy for the patient. We gently place the ultrasound probe on the neck, gliding up and down at various segments to not only look at the carotids but also listen to them. Doppler is the audible evaluation of blood flow within the carotid and we can tell if there is plaque, blockages or normal flow. What do the credentials RCS and RCIS mean? Our Cardiac Sonographer ERIC at Picture Perfect Ultrasound is RCS & RCIS Registered; which means he is a Specialist in many aspects of Cardiac Imaging. Eric is experienced in Echocardiograms, EKG, Stress Echos and Interventional heart catheterizations/procedures. In order to gain these credentials or registries, Eric had to get specialized education and training and then challenge the medical registry board test to earn his RCS and RCIS credentials. Eric has over 30 years experience in Cardiac imaging and we are thrilled he is part of our Picture Perfect Ultrasound team providing excellent cardiac imaging to our patients!
