I’m not even sure if anyone will see this as I’ve not been active here in the slightest. However I’d like to let anyone who sees this know I’ve taken a while off for mental health reasons, and now that I’m feeling better I’ll be returning to streaming after the holidays!
I’m really excited to be coming back and to be feeling better. I’ll be sure to update with an exact date and time💗

So I’ve been thinking of more things I could do to bring the community together and something I’m super passionate about is cartoons and theories on them, it’s actually something I’d like to start branching into my streaming schedule eventually.

However I was wondering if anyone would like to do watch parties and discussions on Monday nights.

I’d really love to start this up this Monday, and I could even give recaps before we start for people that may have missed the part before, I spend most of my time dissecting cartoons so this really would be zero issue.

Hey friends, next Wednesday 9/1, I will NOT be streaming on Twitch to protest Twitch's lack of actions to viably protect their streamers from the rise of recent hate raids on their platform.

What's a "hate raid"? It's when a streamer sends their community and army of bot accounts to another streamer's livestream to flood their chat with obscenities, slurs, and vulgar language. It's very disruptive, distressing, and flat-out harassment. This has been happening especially to marginalized communities, including POC and LGBTQIA+ streamers.

If you watch streams or are a Twitch streamer, I hope you will join us to make our voices heard by not streaming or watching Twitch streams on Wednesday.

I had a really great and relaxing time on vacation, I may have spent a little too much time on the water and in the sun. However I’m feeling relaxed and excited to come back home and start streaming again! I’ll see y’all on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on if my flight gets delayed! I cannot wait to hang out with y’all again I’ve missed everyone so much 💕

If you’ve noticed I haven’t been streaming much lately I’m taking a mental health hiatus, I know I’ve taken breaks before in trying to better my mental health but in reality I spent more time worrying about how I was failing as a streamer. The truth is I need an actual break where I don’t think about streaming and don’t make myself feel guilty for taking the time off. It probably won’t be a long hiatus. I go on vacation next week and will probably start back up after that. I do miss you all but the pressure I’ve been putting on myself when I’m trying to relax and take care of myself is too overwhelming right now. I hope to see you all when I return 💗

So I’ve had a migraine all day, sleeping, caffeine and medicine have offered no relief. I’m going to sleep some more to see if that helps! If it does we will have a late night Ocarina of Time stream, if not I’ll see you all tomorrow! I miss you all and hope the migraine fizzles out.

Due to how often my power has shut off this week due to storms I’m gonna wait it out and see, but it’s most likely I’ll have to reschedule my ocarina of time stream. I don’t want to risk my computer shutting off again during the storm, earlier this week that happened and let’s just say my computer was not very happy about it. DARN YOU MOTHER NATURE 🥲

I’ve been thinking of how to come out and say this. I am completely moving to the purple side. I will be exclusively streaming there from now on. I’m grateful to Facebook and the community it’s allowed me to start. However Facebook has been terrible for my mental health. I’ll try explaining this the best that I can. Facebook is not forgiving about taking days off, 2021 has thrown a lot of things at me and that’s required me to take significant amount of time off from streaming. How this works with Facebook’s algorithm is, if you’re not streaming consistently, it will slowly lower the reach of people who see your streams. This became super evident when people who were consistently in the streams I managed to do, weren’t even getting notified for my lives. This caused a lot of pressure to try and stream everyday and eventually I just felt defeated and almost quit. Instead of doing that I decided to try a new platform, a platform that’s more forgiving with taking time off. It’s still my goal to be more consistent in my schedule, but I don’t want to do it on a platform that will punish me if I’m not doing so.

I’m really sorry for switching things up on everyone with little notice, but if you’d like to still hang out and vibe with our community feel free to join us on the purple side. As always I love and appreciate you all so much.
