Congratulations to E & J! They got married today after meeting each other at their first STYP event in August of 2021! They were the first two to arrive and the last two to leave and have been inseparable since! It has been a pleasure to watch their love story. They are the newest of several couples to have met through STYP and later marry! It was a beautiful wedding. Congratulations again! These photos were from a January 2024 STYP mixer after they were newly engaged!

Today, we want to recognize and celebrate the importance of Juneteenth. While established as a federal holiday only in 2021, it has been long celebrated by African Americans as the actual end of slavery since June 19th, 1865, where news of the Emancipation Proclamation began to be enforced and spread to the southernmost states. The holiday stands as a testament to freedom.

A BIG thank you to all of the volunteers who participated in our highway cleanup in the rain on Saturday, May 18, 2024! The cleanup was part of the Binghamton University Alumni Global Days of Service 2024 and presented by Visions Federal Credit Union. We had a great time beautifying the highway, despite the rain. Missed this cleanup? There will be additional opportunities to join us for another cleanup this year!
Spring has sprung! Join STYP as we visit for the first time! The Grove serves Halal-American fusion food and is a newer addition to Downtown Binghamton. Bring a friend and come connect with other local professionals.
