The earn-a-bike program began in April of 2008 and continues to expand. Through hands-on tutorials, youth and adults learn basic bicycle maintenance and repair skills,and earn their own bike. We also host group rides to cool places in the community. Inspired by other successful bike programs across the country, the North Side Neighborhood Assembly created the Fresh Cycles Youth Program in order to
PEDAL INTO SPRING - Saturday, APRIL 22nd from 11 am - 1 pm at Roosevelt Elementary School - Grab your bike or scooter and celebrate the reopening of Fresh Cycles! Activities will include a bike tune-up and rodeo, a helmet safety demonstration, flower pot painting and planting, lawn games, giveaways, and more!
United Way of Broome County is continuing to host a series of Community Conversations. There are 3 dates left, with the next event taking place on November 29th at the Broome County Public Library. Dinner will be served and a $15 Visa gift card will be provided to all participants (ages 18+). Registration is required. Register here: https://www.uwbroome.org/conversations/
Earn-a-Bike continues to run at the Lee Barta Community Center. Come and learn with Sean about bike maintenance and repair in a 5 week course. Once you complete all program requirements, you walk away with a free bike, helmet, and bike lock. Class runs every Tuesday from 2:30pm-4:30pm. For additional information, call 607-238-1005.

The Lee Barta Community Center is closed today due to the weather. There will be no Earn-a-Bike class this afternoon.
On Saturday, we hosted Pedal into Spring to celebrate the reopening of Fresh Cycles!
