Solid Waste and Environment Education

The CCE Broome County Environment team provides educational programs to schools, youth organizations, and adult groups in Broome County in topics of solid waste, forest management, and energy use to promote waste reduction, increasing recycling and composting participation, conservation, land stewardship, and environmental literacy for a just and sustainable future.

Our programs are partially funded by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation with additional funding from the Broome County Division of Solid Waste Management.
