It was great to be in Enterprise this afternoon with our Congressional District 2 nominee at the Wiregrass Republican Women meeting. This race is so important – not just for Alabama, but for our nation as a whole as we fight to hold control of the U.S. House. It's official! The APLS board just voted on code changes, and I am proud to report that Alabama libraries are now required to remove all sexually explicit materials from children’s sections in order to receive state funding. This is a massive step forward in protecting our children, and keeping them safe from social agendas. I am thankful to Governor Ivey and my fellow board members for their work and commitment on this important issue.

The new code changes are scheduled to take effect on July 17th.

I was in Montgomery tonight as the Alabama Senate voted down concurrence on the gaming bill. Though the motion failed, a high contested vote to hold it over did succeed.

Today, I am celebrating Resurrection Sunday... not "Transgender Day of Visibility". And FYI, Biden also barred religious designs from the White House Easter egg competition (apparently God has no place in a woke Democrat Easter celebration).

The votes are in. Michael Whatley NCGOP Chair was elected as the new Chairman of the RNC, and Lara Trump as co-chair. This is a massive change in the direction of the National Republican Party. I look forward to working with them.

I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing of my predecessor, mentor, and friend, Elbert Peters. It was an incredible honor to serve along side him on both the ALGOP Steering and State Executive Committees, and I will always treasure our many conversations. Chairman Peters had a true servant's heart, working tirelessly on behalf of our Party on the local, state, and national level for decades. Please join me in praying for his loved ones at this difficult time.
