Katia Khoury, M.D., recently received Francisco Robert Award for her project, "Phase II Single Arm Trial of Low Dose Capecitabine in Patients with Advanced Breast Cancer," along with funding from the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. Her clinical trial aims to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of capecitabine in the treatment of metastatic breast cancer.
