For the past year, Stan and Lisa have helped provide music for a Celtic service on Sunday afternoons at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Vestavia where Andy serves as Folk Music Director. Stan (classical guitar) and Lisa (flute) perform as a duo called Dolce….that is, when Rosewood is not busy….and they’re wonderful!

We had a great time singing for the Atwell-Hinton wedding last night at St. Stephen’s. They had us learning, among other things, an a capella version of the Lettermen’s “I Believe”. So much fun! Dan & I hung out at the reception afterwards where he snapped this picture.

ROSEWOOD WILL BE IN CONCERT...this Sunday evening, July 16, at Homewood Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 6:30-7:30 PM. This is part of the church's Summer Concert Series. Dress is casual and admission is FREE! Plus refreshments! Unbelievable!

Thanks to everybody who packed the house at Local Color Cafe last night for Rosewood. It was a little bittersweet knowing that one of our favorite venues may be closing at year's end, but we'll have many great memories like the show last evening. We're grateful to those of you who came out, and especially appreciate Merle & Garry for the years of providing a special place to do our thing.
