Now taking orders for cups and necklaces for Mother's day.
Pottery Pre-Orders for Christmas
Now thru November
I am taking pre-orders of these sculptural vessels for the Christmas season. (350$ each. 40$ for the small bowl in the center.)
(Psst: One of them will be up for auction soon at the Birmingham Zoo’s fundraising event. ❤️)
For 50$ more you can also design a personalized inscription of your favorite wpoetry in the basin. Mine has “Time Makes You Bolder” inscribed in it.
These are beautiful for display, and can also be used to serve if you want a dramatic centerpiece for a really special dish.
They come in a fantastic sea-scape meets moon-scape glaze I call “Estuary Starfall” and a delicious, shiny green and white I call “River Basin.”
I can also make matching coffee mugs for you. They are 40$ each or $120 for a set of 4.

Sneak peek of this fall’s collections
“My heart lifts up when I behold a rainbow in the sky.” (William Wordsworth)
Nichole Lariscy is associate professor of English at the University of Alabama-Birmingham where her work centers around art for healing for individuals and communities. In the English department she focuses on community theater, story telling, expressive writing, and reading for healing. In the community, where she serves on the board of her local arts council, Dr. Lariscy explores the restorative effects of art through expressive ceramics and pottery. She shares her art, her expressive ceramics, in hopes that her contemplations of joy, serenity, and wonder will translate to the physical form of the clay. You’ll likely see some of her most beloved literary quotes pressed into print on her pottery. Nichole hopes when you see and touch her pottery that your heart will lift up like it does when you consider a rainbow, a river, an ocean, or a dependably beautiful sunrise.
