CQB is a main area of focus and training for us at TSI. In the chaos of close-quarters, seamless teamwork is paramount for a successful mission. Our CQB training emphasizes minimizing risks while maximizing effectiveness.

Had a great time training the crew at USAF 17 SFS EST last week in Texas. Great group that worked hard and got better.

It’s Friday and we’re feeling good. So good in fact we are doing an appreciation post for Grumples. We’re not exactly sure what he has done to deserve this prestigious honor other than making us all feel better about ourselves but y’all give Grumples some love today.

All kidding aside, Mike brings a lot to the table and is a instrumental part of our trainings. Thanks for all you do Grumples!

Want to add a little pressure to your training? Get a shot-timer. Training the right way by adding resources like the shot-timer will help to improve your speed. Make sure you are proficient with your gun before using the timer. This means you have a smooth draw from and back to the holster and have practiced your transition from rifle to pistol to the point that the mechanics of the movements are instinct. Remember, slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
