WOW! What an incredible day! The Personnel Board staff knocked it out of the park with the second annual WOW (Working on Workday) Conference! The City of Birmingham Government is for Laborers! Laborer positions to be filled are for our City of Birmingham Public Works Department and Birmingham Park and Recreation Department.

The agility test is the first phase of the hiring process and it is required by all applicants in order to move forward. Testing will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Legion Field.

All applicants must submit an application by June 18, 2024 as we will only accept applications on site between 11 AM- 12 PM. It is strongly recommended that applicants apply BEFORE the deadline to secure your spot, and to ensure a fast & efficient testing experience.

You may visit the Human Resources Department on the 8th floor of City Hall, Mon-Fri from 8 AM- 5 PM to submit an application or scan the QR code on the flyer below! We hope to see you there!
