Speaking of being good…

My husband’s birthday was a few weeks ago. I asked him what dessert he wanted (I already knew the answer) and he said toffee cookies. His dessert of choice switches between toffee brownies, vanilla pound cake, and toffee cookies. Lately he’s been on a toffee cookie kick. He has no self control when it comes to those cookies so I don’t make them often. lol I loaded them with extra toffee chips and let him have at them. He was in heaven. lol

Toffee cookies are on the menu as are my fall items. That means all things sweet potato, apple, and the rest of your favorite fall flavors are available.

I will start offering my Fall in love grazing boxes in October. What would you like to see in them? I’m looking forward to sweet potato brownies. What about you?

My cinnamon rolls are a customer fave. Made from scratch dough and hand rolled this glorious creation takes you back to your childhood. Did your school sell cinnamon rolls back in the day? My elementary school did and they were gooT.

Well maybe this lemon blueberry poundcake will make up for it.

This cake was so soft and glorious. It was a blueberry explosion and was made with fresh blueberries from my neighbor’s blueberry bushes. Can’t go wrong with farm fresh eggs, fresh blueberries, and pure butter.

I’m a simple lemon or vanilla poundcake girl but this lemon blueberry won my heart.

A few months ago while at my Uncle’s home in Dallas he told me about some yummy all natural, no granulated sugar added, preserves and peaches he purchases from a farm store.

Fast forward to last week…

I was surprised with a box of peach and blueberry preserves and jars of peach half from Cooper Farms courtesy of my Uncle Andrew.

Y’all knew what called for biscuits, right? I cranked out a few buttermilk and blueberry biscuits to slather with preserves and it was glorious. I love that the ingredients list is short and pure which paired well with my simple biscuits of flour, butter, and buttermilk.

Wanna know what’s really good? These mini pineapple coconut cakes. 💃🏾🙌🏾

My daughter loves the combo of pineapple coconut and asked me to make this cake. Y’all. It’s perfection. The cake is a modification of my vanilla cake and contains a perfect balance of coconut and pineapple flavors. It’s topped with pineapple sauce, pineapple icing, and toasted coconut.

Are you a coconut fan? If you like coconut flavor without the texture that can be done as well.

I’m not even gonna mention the vanilla caramel cream cakes peaking in the background. 😩🙌🏾

My daughter’s bestie asked me to make some strawberry banana pudding for her birthday and of course I had to oblige.

I’m a banana pudding purist but this is gloriously decadent.

It contains my standard banana custard and is layered with fresh bananas and strawberries, made from scratch strawberry purée, strawberry cream cheese, vanilla wafers, and is topped with homemade whipped cream.

Y’all.

So good. ❤️

Hey y’all! How’s it going? Did y’all make it through this cold weather okay? How are the temps in your area? Cold weather tends to make people whip up nostalgic food…Something that keeps them warm or brings about warm memories.

These old fashioned iced oatmeal cookies are definitely nostalgic. Did you eat them growing up? Do you eat them now? These were best after they’d gotten stale. Maybe it was the texture that the staleness created. Well there’s no need to let these go stale. The crispy edges and soft chewy center’s just perfection.

Cold weather is the perfect time for baking. Have you baked anything? Do you have plans to?

I decided to bake glorious heart shaped pull apart cinnamon rolls. This is the perfect treat for sharing or to have with a cup of coffee. Need a treat on the go? Just pull a section off and have at it.

These can be done in a variety of flavors. Not a fan of cinnamon? Try orange rolls. Want something savory? Pesto is wonderful.

Yesterday was my birthday. For the past few years I’ve made myself a strawberry cheesecake with made from scratch strawberry sauce and homemade whipped cream. It was glorious and blessed my soul. A slice with a good cup of coffee is gonna bless my soul even more later today.

Biscuits are one of my favorite things to make. A little flour, butter, and buttermilk creates some magical bites of joy. Biscuit ingredients are so simple but a lot of people struggle to make them. Have you perfected biscuit making? If you don’t want to try your hand at it then you could always order some from us.

Look at those layers in the raw dough. They baked to be fluffy layers of joy.

I made some apple cider doughnuts for home. I usually make yeast doughnuts but these are cake doughnuts which are my favorite. My daughter and I decided on some with the traditional cinnamon sugar coating and the rest with apple cider glaze.
