Cassady & Self Glass Co., Inc. currently has a need for a recalibration technician. After a new windshield is installed, many newer vehicles require recalibration. This involves connecting the vehicle to a diagnostics reader (tablet) and ushering through the setup and recalibration of the cameras that are aimed through the windshield. Once the tablet is connected and targets are placed, if needed, the computer assesses and recalibrates the cameras angles and direction. This would of course require training on the diagnostic tablet. Tech should be in decent physical condition in order to enter and exit the vehicle and be able to precisely set targets in front of vehicle when needed Write old email [email protected] with applications. In late 2012, many vehicles began including Lane Departure Warning, Front End Collision, Auto Cruise Control monitoring, Blind spot warning and a lot more. The manufacturers state that whenever a windshield is replaced on a vehicle with ADAS, the cameras that point through the windshield, must be recalibrated to maintain the integrity of the ADAS features. Some of you may be aware that Mr. Self is kind of an animal guy. He donates to a number of animal charities and asked that we share a letter he received from a senior dog sanctuary in Missouri. If you are able to help, we know it would be greatly appreciated. Hello Friends,

I come to you on behalf of all of our seniors at the sanctuary. We currently have 81 seniors sharing our home together. Some need more medical than others. Lately we have had an extreme amount of high medical needs, surgeries, and traumas. All being so costly we are struggling to make ends meet for them.

During covid we have surprisingly been blessed by so many. The donations have helped us through some very hard times. Now, we have had to completely stop intake with the high medical needs. Everyone is being hit hard and that is where we need help. We are inundated with requests daily to help. Although we can't save them all we do our very best to help those that we can.

Donations are at an all time low and our vetting bills are at their all time high. The seniors vetting is sitting at $12,000 that we currently owe. A record high with overwhelming sickness, hospice cases, and specialty services it has skyrocketed our bill. We are doing everything we can to raise money. We have cut down staff which is already limited. We did get put into a food rescue bank which is a godsend saving us thousands.

We do not want to have to turn those that need help away but at this time we have no choice. I truly do understand if you are unable to help. I thank you for supporting us and help in the past. Thank you for being an encouragement to the sanctuary.

If there is any help you can give it would be an amazing gift to the seniors as well as all of us caretakers. We are also looking for any corporate donors or leads if you have any ideas. We are absolutley all ears to any ideas or help that you may know of. Right now the seniors need us and we could use all the help we can get!
