Most would consider it crazy to take on a full blown color correction to break through layers of at home black permanent hair color on photo shoot day, but I will quite literally take anyy opportunity to create a shineline on somebody’s super dark hair… and to show off my skills as a color correction specialist 😌🤘🏼

BIG SHOT.
I have been entering the for 8 consecutive years. This is my first real shot at the BIG SHOT category.
This was also my first time operating as the creative director of a photo shoot. From the mood board, to carefully choosing my team- I had a vision and did everything I needed to do to make it come to life. I made an itinerary for each artist, began my color applications at 6 o’clock in the morning, and didn’t leave until 6:45 that evening.
This shoot took a lot out of me 😅
I learned a lot, I grew a lot, and I can’t wait to do it over and over and over again with different teams, different artists, and different inspirations.
These photos mean the world to me. I put my blood, sweat, and actual tears into them. I hope you love them as much as I do. 🌹

⏳Once upon a time long ago a stylist told their famous platinum client that they shouldn’t wash their hair for a few days so the oils can build up in their hair and provide a layer of protection from the harsh chemicals on their scalp when getting their hair bleached.
