Parents/Guardians:
As a reminder, Fourth Marking Period Report Cards are now available on the Realtime Parent Portal. Report cards contain important information about your child’s progress in school. You can find the report card through this link to the Parent Portal that you should have accessed at the start of the year.

Congratulations to the Glen Landing Class of 2024! We wish you all much success in High School!!
SUMMER BAND INCOMING 6th graders welcome! 7&8 graders in case you missed the email!
This is just a reminder to be sure to sign up for the SUMMER MUSIC PROGRAM!!!! The program consists of 6 weeks of lessons with a finale concert at the end of July! Attending all of the lessons are NOT required and as always, we try to remain as flexible as possible to ensure that all students can participate in other programs, vacations and summer camps. If you have to miss some of the weeks that is not a problem at all! Although I do not have a set schedule as of right now, I can tell everyone that I will be doing lessons on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9 AM and 3 PM. Once I have a list of all those who are planning on taking lessons, I can solidify that! Everyone will have at least one lesson per week!
If you are thinking of trying out a new or second instrument, this is the time to do it! I encourage everyone to take the advanced classes for their primary instrument in addition to taking a beginner class on a new instrument if you are choosing to do so!
As I mentioned at the concert, there is a $20 fee for participating in the summer music program because it is considered a summer enrichment program. If you are taking multiple classes, there is only one $20 fee. Please see the following statement from the district: "As always, we try to keep fees as low as possible for summer enrichment programs. The summer band fee is only $20 per student, and free for students on free and reduced lunch. Please note that students also must be paid up to date on district financial obligations such as lunch account balance.”
After you register for the program, names and emails will be submitted to the district and if the fee is applicable to your student, the district will provide a link to pay that fee.
If you have any questions or need to plan a specific time to work around other camps and programs that your student may be already enrolled in, please feel free to reach out and I will be glad to help!
HERE IS THE LINK TO REGISTER:
2024 Summer Music Camp Registration - Grades 6-8 Please complete this form by June 13, 2024. If your students is registering on more than one instrument, please submit separate responses for each instrument. You will receive a confirmation email after each submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please submit again and be sure that...
