Exciting to kickoff the major improvements to Hwy65 this week! A ton of partnerships and work to get this project fully funded. This will save lives and continue to set the city of Blaine up for future success!

State, local leaders celebrate kickoff of Highway 65 project in Blaine Between state and federal funding, nearly $200 million is earmarked for Highway 65 in Blaine, which has been considered one of the most dangerous roads in Minnesota for some time.

Breaking Highway 65 News: I was able to secure $68.75 million in the final Transportation Budget Bill that was just released!!

This is the entire trunk highway funding portion for the intersections at 99th, 105th, and 109th. Even more funding will be coming thanks to the bipartisan deal we struck on a capital investment bill. All told, this means we should be able to get shovels in the ground for the critical first stage at 99th!

Had a very productive couple of days in our Nations Capitol working on securing federal funding for TH65. Time to bring our federal tax dollars back home to Blaine! Thank you Senator Amy Klobuchar, Congressman Tom Emmer, and U.S. Senator Tina Smith for leading on this effort in DC.

Testifying in the MN House for the priority and urgent funding to upgrade TH65 through Blaine. Thank you to Rep. Matt Norris, Rep. Nolan West and Senator Michael Kreun for leading on this critical need at the State Legislature. The time is now - this session - to fully fund this critical project!
