We have successfully been able to deliver food safely to a few families now without the physical location! While we still are searching for one, we’re so thankful to have found a solution to be able to meet the needs of the hungry without the expense of a monthly rental!

If you need some food assistance please reach out, we’re here for you!

While we are still searching for a physical location for our members to meet with benefit families and for them to be able to pick up fresh food from us, we have figured out a temporary solution that is both cost effective AND safer for our members! If you have been on our waitlist (or have a food need) please reach out or submit a new application. We would love to help feed your children!

I truly hate to do this but I’m going to have to temporarily postpone the Second Annual Full Bellies Bake Sale I just don’t have enough manpower and supplies in time this year 😭 I’ll update soon with an updated date.

The office building we were hopping to have set up unfortunately seems to have fallen through so we are one the hunt for a new location. We are rapidly searching so we can provide a clean, safe and healthy environment for these families to come "shop" our shelves. If you are aware of an office building available (that is not crazy high in rent, I want the money going to food for families more than bills) please let me know ASAP!!

Summer break is only two weeks away and we’re working diligently to be able to have a spot where families who struggled during the school year can come get some food to feed their children.

We are a full faith and donation based program so I cannot guarantee assistance to everyone but we work very hard to ensure we help as many as we can! Get your app in as early as you can so I can judge how much we will need!

Every child should be carefree, never worrying where their basic needs will come from. Unfortunately, 1 in 5 children today don't have that luxury and are left worrying about where their next meal will come from.

At Full Bellies Foundation Inc, we understand the devastating effects childhood hunger has on a child’s overall health and growth. Research has shown that when a child’s nutritional needs are not met, it can lead to a host of negative outcomes, both physical and cognitive.

Studies have demonstrated that childhood hunger can have a long-term impact on a child’s physical health. Malnutrition in infancy can lead to stunted physical growth, weakened immune systems, and an increased risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes. In addition, there is evidence to suggest that childhood hunger can lead to an increased risk of obesity, as the body compensates for the lack of nutrients by storing extra fat.

The effects of childhood hunger can be equally damaging to a child’s cognitive development. Research shows that inadequate nutrition can impair a child’s ability to learn, reducing their academic performance. Additionally, children who experience hunger are more likely to experience behavioral issues, including aggression and hyperactivity.

It is clear that childhood hunger can have a devastating impact on a child’s health and growth. At Full Bellies Foundation, we are committed to providing vulnerable children with the nutrition they need to reach their full potential. No matter where your political or religious views stand, hopefully we can all agree that access to sustainable food sources is a basic human need and right. During the height of the pandemic we all saw first hand the sure fear that comes with food scarcity and the effects it can bring. Since the pandemic an estimated 6 MILLION more families with children than before are experiencing food shortages due to either reduced or the same wages during record inflation. Many of these families don’t qualify for traditional assistance although they greatly need the help!
As a faith based organization, not only does our love for people make us feel the burning desire to feed these children, but we are called to do so in Isaiah 58: 10-11!

Years ago there was 1 in every 8 children deal with hunger, it’s 1 in 5 today (and rising). I pray you’ll join me on this fight to END childhood hunger in our communities!
