Just got a message from New Hope Counseling in town to let us know they have created this beautiful memorial tree, honoring the memory of all the lives that have been lost to Substance Addiction. They added Michael and Aubree today...Those 2 beautiful kids touched so many lives...

Morning world. I ran across this recently and thought how appropriate considering we saw more near misses and obnoxious horn honking out here on the square this past week, it's mind boggling. I really would like to stand out there at the yields and hand these out to everyone that passes thru town lol Don't be like car C so Car D doesn't hate you lol

All the shops will be Open, and there are tons of things to do, and you get to learn about Blairsvilles heritage while you're doing it!

Good Morning world. Fall is coming in HOT. Most likely due to the extremely hot and dry weather we've had this year, Fall is appearing randomly all over the place. You can tell alot around here about what to expect if you just pay attention to Mother Nature. Has anyone noticed the squirrels barking lately? They know it's time to start foraging as their food supply could be sparing with all this heat. I personally think we will go from hot to not, just like that.
Anyway, don't forget, it's a Festival Weekend and a Holiday weekend. That means we will be wide open sideways, which is what we live for. It's when we perform at our very best. We look forward to meeting many new visitors this weekend! Happy Friday

Good Morning world! Waking up and going thru the comments of posts can sometimes be really frustrating. (This is about a local business I just saw getting railed, NOT about us) Lol There's always a negative Nelly in the crowd somewhere. We post the good, the bad, the happy and the sad. We post about anything we think is cool about our area. Let's just remember that what and who we post about are real people. People that we most likely know. People that make a difference. So when someone comes along and has something not so nice to say, we find it distasteful. There should never be a reason to be ugly. We choose kindness until someone acts like a jerk, and then we just Bless Your Heart ;) lol The best way to practice kindness is to stay out of all the local toxic Facebook groups lol There is nothing worth hurting your neighbor or even a perfect stranger....We can all do better....

Morning world! Just a reminder that this weekend with be The Heritage Festival which now comes with tons of vendors, much like the Spring Arts n Crafts event. Tents will be set up all around the square Saturday and Sunday. For anyone new in town, there is a huge municipal parking lot directly beside us, so there should be plenty of parking for everyone and vendors park over at the county courthouse. Come on down and shop our local stores! Meanwhile, expect wait times everywhere you go. And for goodness sake, bring those manners everyone! Last time we had a festival, several vendors had folks that made them cry. That's not cool, so come have a good time and see what's so special about this area. And as always, be kind!

To the lady accusing us of talking poorly about Democrats.
First of all, if the owner was having a conversation with someone, perhaps he made a joke that day during a political conversation that came up with a customer, he does joke alot. We will even apologize for whatever offended you. However we DO NOT talk politics in here and Mark does not "talk like that all the time". We dont bash people from either side. Our employees certainly don't appreciate you accusing them when you say "everyone". It's hurtful that you feel the need to say things like Libtards while accusing us of bashing people.(Pretty ironic) We don't do politics here, so let me just say, YOU make us uncomfortable with how easy you spew hate about this hard working family. I hope you find a better place to eat. And no. This isn't open for comments. This is how we feel, and we wanted you to know. And the funny thing is, BOTH people you commented to know us, and know that's not how we roll...We aren't perfect, but this description of our humble abode is unacceptable.

We want to say Thank You to our customer and friend Dan. He is always giving to others. He decided we just needed a giant canopy out here, so he brought us one! This is the first group to sit under the new "Sanopy" for it's maiden voyage! Lol You rock Dan W ;)

I just can't get enough of this picture...It screams Fall evening...Anyway, I got a really cool suggestion today from an expert farm chick. She said I should stick some Sorguhm Seeds in where I've thinned the sidewalk Sunflowers. They will grow as tall or taller and look amazing. I think I'm going to give it a try!
